Clear blue & Natural cycles confusion

I have been keeping track of my temp with natural cycles and also using the clear blue digital ovulation. Clear Blue showed a static smiley face on the Monday cycle day 21 and ovulation was confirmed on the Wednesday (cycle day 23) with temp increase on Friday (cycle day 26) but now my ovulation confirmed date has moved to the Thursday why has this date now moved after a week of it being confirmed at day 23? Would i get a peak on Monday and ovulate 3 days later? Also is ovulation on day 24 too late to conceive?

Hi OP, do you take your temp yourself or use any sort of monitor? I would say there is more room for error with temping if not done completely correctly (i.e. before you've gotten out of bed, the minute you wake up, with a good night sleep etc) There are factors that can affect your temp.
The day in your cycle that you ovulate doesn't have much impact as much as your luteal phase does. If you ovulate later in your cycle but you still have a normal luteaul phase, it makes very little impact on your chances.

you want a luteal phase of ideally 14 days before your period, so depends how long your cycles are. I have read that over 10 is ok for luteal phase & if you want to extend it then take vit C & vit b complex. Extended mine from 10 to 13

I’m not familiar with clear but but re day 24 - it doesn’t really matter which day of the cycle you conceive, it’s whether your luteal phase (the days after) is long enough. That’s why people often have different length cycles, they might ovulate on different days but generaly the luteal phase stays around the same, meaning your cycle might be a different length each month, or just longer than the average 28 days
