@Nic17 i try and hold out as long as possible but usually cave by 11dpo. Thing is I got such a late positive with my first child I’m not sure if I would just get false negatives at that point anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️

Starlight11111 · 25/11/2023 01:41

@CurlyWurly1991 well done you for holding offf! I totally get it though, especially if you got a late BFP previously. I had my positive with my chemical at 11DPO. With my early loss I didn't suspect pregnancy so only tested when AF was late which must have been around 15DPO. Wasn't super strong line but confirmed bCB earlg didirial xxxx

After the weirdest cycle AF has definitely arrived in full force! :( on to the next one! I’m thinking I might lay off the supplements for this cycle maybe just stick to the Agnus cactus as I only started taking it last month could take a while to kick it :/

Starlight11111 · 25/11/2023 21:24

@TTCbaby1soph I'm so sorry lovely. Hope AF is quick for you and you can get cracking with the next cycle. Sending ❤️

Really weird cycle- only 22 days! Never had that before so feeling a bit low but we move on!

Starlight11111 · 27/11/2023 11:10

How's everyone doing? I'm 7DPO today, not really feeling anything yet at all. Woke up yesterday with pelvic/hip pain which subsided after an hour or so. Hope you're all doing well xxx

@Nic17 I'm 7/8 dpo too, and I don't feel anything specific not even the pms symptoms, a bit weird yeah..

Starlight11111 · 28/11/2023 13:24

Well I had cramps / twinges last night and have been nauseous all morning. Have an FRER but nervous to test as still so early at 8DPO. Period due Sunday x

@TwinkleStarrr how are you lovely?

TwinkleStarrr · 30/11/2023 12:21

Hi @Nic17
I m good thanks! I caved and tested this morning at 11 dpo and it was bfn..
I m starting to accept the fact that I m probably out this month.
How are you getting on?

TTCbaby1soph · 30/11/2023 13:41

Im still bleeding guys 😯 I was spotting for 3 days before full flow and I’m now on day 8 of full flow AF. This is really unusual for me, usually I have a 5 day period heavy on day 2/3 but this has been heavy bleeding all the way through with really bad cramps. Not sure what’s going on? Any ideas? If it hasn’t gone by tomorrow I’ll call my GP

TTCbaby1soph · 30/11/2023 13:42

Sorry about your BFN …. It’s horrible each month but on to the next one!

Starlight11111 · 30/11/2023 13:59

@TTCbaby1soph nooooo that's so frustrating and confusing for you. We have similar cycles/AF and I would be so confused in your position. Hopefully a doctor can help in some way.

@TwinkleStarrr there's still time! I tested today at DPO and a BFN, trying to keep sane... when are you due AF? Mines due Sunday

@CurlyWurly1991 how are you getting on?

Xxxx

OP posts:
TwinkleStarrr · 01/12/2023 10:29

@Nic17 AF due on Monday according to Flo
I tested this morning too and it was a BFN.
I hope you guys have better news 😄
I can't wait for BFPs to start flowing in this thread... ✨

Starlight11111 · 01/12/2023 15:22

@TwinkleStarrr riiiiight where's our BFPs?!

Also tested morning and afternoon after a 5 hour hold today, BFN. I guess there's still time but I don't have a great feeling this month, still not feeling any big symptoms just the odd cramp but AF must be gearing up by now.

I m a bit curious, how old are you ladies ? and which baby number are you TTC ?

I'll start I'm 38 and I'm TTC baby #2 God willing.

I'm well aware I should have started TTC a bit earlier but I had my first via C-section almost 2 years ago and it took me ages to get back to some kind of normalcy.

TwinkleStarrr · 01/12/2023 15:56

@Nic17 I feel some dull cramps too, in my case it looks suspiciously more like AF ones 😅

TTCbaby1soph · 01/12/2023 17:38

I’m 32, TTC baby number one. Apparantly I have an AMH of 7 which is low but I’m not a big ally sure what that means in terms of how long I’ve got.

Starlight11111 · 02/12/2023 00:00

I'm 33, TTC #1. I did the hertility testing in June and back then my AMH was 10.33.

Had some serious AF style cramps tonight so expecting her to appear this weekend. The only silver lining is enjoying a few festive tipples (I'd rather the opposite, but trying to find rainbows in this journey!)

OP posts:
TTCbaby1soph · 02/12/2023 09:40

How long have you been TTC if you don’t mind me asking? Were all your results norma on your hertility test ? The only thing that has cone back slightly abnormal for me is AMH of 7 and pregosterone fluctuations- below 30.
I gave up waiting for nhs so went private and had a scan which was normal and then a Hycosy which was all clear. I’m not sure what else to do. Good news is I’ve got an appointment with Gynocologist beginning of Jan but they’re probably gonna repeat the same tests I had privately.
I don’t really understand about AMH - being at 7 is that very bad TTC - I would be grateful for some insight as I’m constantly in panic mode thinking my time is running out.

TwinkleStarrr · 02/12/2023 10:52

I have been TTC for 5 or 6 months now, which at my age (38) is pretty much the cut off, I haven't had the courage to do tests yet.

@TTCbaby1soph it's great that you ll get to see a gynecologist, I think it's good to redo the tests and have his point of view, wishing you get some good and reassuring news soon.

Starlight11111 · 03/12/2023 06:47

@TTCbaby1soph the hertility tests showed I was slightly anaemic which has now been resolved, everything else except for the borderline AMH was within their ranges. It put my mind at ease a little doing the tests but I'm not sure how much to trust it really.

Only been trying since June, that was the month we accidentally fell pregnant (now that I'm trying I know how triggering that sentence is so apologies). It gave us a kick up the bum that this is what we really want after our miscarriage.

Really amazing about your gyno appt in January! Just having someone to repeat tests, answer questions etc will hopefully help a lot!

@TwinkleStarrr god it's hard isn't it, sometimes I am definitely the type to bury my head in the sand, but ultimately knowledge is power, and there are SO many success stories at your age and many years on!

I had my usual pre AF spotting last night so expecting to come on today and then we go again!

OP posts:
Starlight11111 · 04/12/2023 15:37

So ladies AF still hasn't arrived. My cycles are usually (last 12 months I have data for) 26-28 days and I'm now on CD30. No BFP though so I just wish AF would hurry up!

OP posts:
TwinkleStarrr · 05/12/2023 11:18

AF showed up today. Oh well..
How are you getting on ladies?

TTCbaby1soph · 05/12/2023 12:11

Should be in my fertile window at the moment. Flo predicting ovulation on Saturday. Does anyone know if your AF lasts longer would that effect ovulation date? Like would I ovulate later than usual??
