Evening everyone,

I had a chemical pregnancy last month, we weren't trying but also not avoiding, but saddening nonetheless. We also had one this time last year.
We've decided to start actively ttc this month.

I'm 11dpo now and along with sore boobs since around 4dpo, very bad bloating & gas, mild nausea, a metallic taste in my mouth for past 2 days, I've also had light pink tinged CM this morning and just now. I've also had some weird mild lightning jolt/shooting pains type feelings in my uterus/vagina area earlier this afternoon?

I'm very anxious that I might be having another chemical as this is exactly how I felt last month, I had implantation bleeding but then I just started bleeding heavier. I just need some listening ears really, and some advice please. I seem to get pregnancy symptoms quite early on, which makes it difficult as I literally feel them disappear as I lose the pregnancy 🙁I've had negative pregnancy tests so far.

I've been tracking bbt and opk's on the fertility friend and premom apps, which seem very useful. I've attached pictures of my charts. My temps are rising which I believe is a good sign? I'm not as hopeful today as I was yesterday, or any day before that, though.

thank you for reading 🙂

forgot to add, I had two dips in my bbt since ovulation; as it's my first time tracking it, im not sure if this is significant

Hi, so sorry youre going through this, it's so difficult! I've also had a chemical pregnancy and I know the disappointment. I did read (since I'm obsessed) that chemical pregnancies are super common and if women didn't test/symptom spot so early on we wouldn't even know it had happened but because so many women do this it's seen as a common occurance.

I'm a bugger for symptom spotting (strange since when I conceived my son I had no symptoms until week 5) but when I was doing some research into whether or not my symptoms could be early signs of pregnancy I read this:

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10362823/#:~:text=Conclusions%3A%20In%20most%20successful%20human,to%2010%20days%20after%20ovulation.

It basically says implantation between 8 and 10 days dpo are the most successful pregnancies ie they result in live births. I'm plantation earlier or later may result in a chemical or miscarriage or birth defect etc.

Obviously this isn't the case for everyone but it certainly made me calm down with the early testing and symptom spotting because it would be pointless and just lead to me being upset.

I hope this can bring you some comfort that symptoms coming and going are likely nothing for you to worry about!

Best of luck!

Time of implantation of the conceptus and loss of pregnancy - PubMed

In most successful human pregnancies, the conceptus implants 8 to 10 days after ovulation. The risk of early pregnancy loss increases with later implantation.
