Ladies! Can I have some advice please - I’ve just done my morning test today at 8DPO and have this! I’m panicking slightly as I tested positive for Covid yesterday so praying this doesn’t affect anything!

ive had severe lower back pain for 2 days which I thought was the covid but I wonder if it was maybe implantation? (Unless I’m seeing things on the test or it’s actually an evap, although it looks like it has colour and showed in the time frame!)

@Bl1991 morning I didn't even have to squint at that and it looks like it has colour too! Maybe twins for you because that is a good solid line for 8dpo haha congratulations 🎊

I’ve realised it’s not showing that well on the picture but here’s it in negative too :) will be keeping everything crossed over the next few days!

Ahh yay, thanks, so pleased someone else can see it! I won’t lie, the twins part scares me slightly as we do have them in the family!

@PADonk thanks poppet! Haha sorry about that! I’m totally obsessed with POAS so had told myself I wouldn’t but I couldn’t decipher whether it was Covid symptoms or implantation so curiosity got the better of me!

@Bl1991 I can't see how covid would effect it and that would just be awful if it could but for now that is a positive and a clear one that we all want, not where we have to go under all lights different angles to see if we find one and I came on in the end, @PADonk that's gone really quick 8 days 👌😀🤞🤞 @BB78910 how are you getting on x

@Bl1991 congrats!! Can definitely see that without squinting. I had Covid when I was pregnant with DD before testing was even available (lost taste and smell etc so def was Covid) and she is perfectly healthy. I was about 4/5m though. just try and keep your fever under wraps if you have any. Paracetamol is fine
do twins run on your side of the family in the women? Cos that’s the family link, it wouldn’t be from the men - I was reading about it and it’s the egg that causes the twinnies. Also, you could have O’d a day before you think so you can be 9DPO which is bang on the money.

@BB78910 thank you for the reassurance and glad your last pregnancy went smoothly despite Covid, my first was born in the May of 2020 so I’m looking forward to (hopefully FX) a much nicer experience than the first time round, my other half nearly missed the birth as I had to labour on my own and then grandparents couldn’t hold him for months and only met him through the living room window, what a crazy time!

ahh I didn’t know that about twins being linked to the mother but that makes sense and the twin gene is on the other half’s side - of course twins are always a blessing but having seen my brother in law and his twins and older sister, they definitely have their work cut out! :)

@Bl1991 @Roses12345 @BB78910 ah I hope it is twins - I’m one and it’s the best ☺️ I agree that covid won’t have any impact, just take extra care of yourself until you’re negative again x

I’m annoying myself because I’ve been feeling quite optimistic about this cycle but that just means I’ll be extra crushed if it doesn’t happen / the next few days I’ll be torturing myself. Not really felt any implantation pains but I don’t think I ever do, but I’ve been super tired, super hungry and my cm didn’t dry up straight after O like it normally does 🤞🏼On the other hand my brain says I’m just getting in hibernation mode with it being dark and my hormones will still be a bit out of whack 🤦🏼‍♀️ really going to try and stay away from the sticks for at least another few days though 💪🏼

@PADonk stay positive, I’ll keep everything crossed for you! I had also noticed I had increased appetite and CM had stayed creamy (only upon checking cervix though but think I’ve usually dried up by now).

I hope you manage to distract yourself over the next few days, I always find this part of TWW the hardest as you feel a bit in limbo!

I’ve had a panic this morning as my temp has dropped below my cover line (cover line was high this month at 36.6 so hoping it doesn’t mean anything! Feeling a bit sicky this morning and had lots of ‘warm feeling in tummy’ last night so praying we’re still good!

@Bl1991 honestly I’d stop temping now you’ve got your BFP - spikes and drops are totally normal and will just drive you potty on a daily basis. Sicky/warm sound like v healthy signs 👍🏼☺️ xxx

@PADonk Were saying that doesn't mean anything its just bit early n bfp few days will follow 😊 positive vibes we will will it for you 🥰 @Bl1991 agree with @PADonk try not temp n that now hard to i know that too but it will just ease ur mind that little bit comparing and stuff I would take a test though in day or two ( I wouldn't be able to help myself as u got an 8dpo positive) lol 😂 x

Thanks ladies! I did another couple yesterday as I couldn’t quite believe it and they were all positive, got 20 more ICs coming today so I can keep an eye on progression.
