Starting a new chat as we filled up the last one. New members always welcome 🤗

@G3mini2 I would have ovulated within the week of my period ending but my cycles are 24-26 days usually.

@PADonk just at the praying everything is still going ok stage. 10 weeks now, got my scan in a couple of weeks so hopefully it will show a happy growing baby 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 been really struggling with fatigue, sickness and food aversions which is harder this time around with a toddler to chase after

@G3mini2 yeah I typically ovulate day 12 or 13 of my cycle, so about 8 or 9 days after my period. I’d think 2 full weeks after would be pretty late and unusual? But who knows, my possible ovulation this month has about a 3 day range 😂

@PADonk i don’t think the earlier bleed was implantation 🫣 I think it was way too early and I only got a squinter today so it was just random. How are ya? In the 2WW yet?

@catson yeah my cycles are that length too... I just heard women usually ovulate 2 weeks after so I thought my app was playing up🤦🏻‍♀️ I don't use strips as I know that's just added on stress so I just go off by my symptoms

@BB78910 honestly I didn't even know I was in my fertile week when we had sex I just looked on my app and it I was on first and put it nicely I'm not happy to be back 😂 but now I know I've dtd in the fertile week I'm like oooohhhhh okay hahha so I'm gonna dtd a couple more times this week but I won't be too arsed about the outcome as I have the stress of a toddler and house move 😂😂 x

@BB78910 ah no that’ll drive you mad. Can you get hold of a FRER or boots early one? Yeah I’m at least 4dpo now. Got my biopsy thing booked in so that’s a nice distraction from symptom spotting 😜 need to just try now and manifest all the positive vibes you’ve given me today into my own BFP 🧘🏼‍♀️ 😂

@G3mini2 ah thank you 🥰, right back at you! If anything at least it (hopefully) means your TWW isn’t too stressful symptom-spotting etc and it means once you do decide you’re definitely ready you’re already well underway!

you're not supposed to as there’s a very small risk of mc, but as I already probably have a higher than average chance and I couldn’t do next month anyway we’re just going for it, but as early as we can to minimise the chances even further. Apparently just the procedure increases your chances as it regenerates your lining a bit so on balance I’m happy to take the risk 👍🏼

@G3mini2 in a textbook 28 day cycle you would ovulate on cd14 (one week after your period and then have a 14 day lutual phase (the tww).

In reality, even if cycles are 28 days there can be lots of differences, but ideally you need a lutual phase of 10 days to allow conception and implantation to happen before the lining is shed. If cycles are shorter then the chances are you ovulate sooner rather than the lutual phase becoming shorter. I.e. you'd ovulate somewhere between cd7 and cd14.

I've never used ovulation tests, but from knowing when I dtd and other ovulation symptoms I have, I know I ovulate around cd9 or 10 usually

@Catson thank you for explaining it to me I am clueless at these things.... I've got 2 children and I never tried with them they were wanted but we never tried so this is my first time actually trying for a baby and I'm so bamboozled by it all😂 x

Sorry gals was so busy yesterday and I’ve had a shocking migraine today cannot shake it off.
@PADonk that makes sense! I guess they always have to give you a disclaimer. Suppose it’s the same as having a smear around that time.

@G3mini2 ive read a study where they used LH tests along with ultrasounds and most women ovulated earlier than middle of the cycle and a fraction later, only a vvv small percentage ovulated slap bang in the middle deeming the whole “day 14” inaccurate

@BB78910 well I did the deed a couple days a go and still getting twinges on my right ride. I ain't gonna be able to dtd again now till tomorrow as my partner has gone to visit his mum tonight. So who knows hopefully the time we did it has caught my ovulation but I highly doubt it 😂x

@PADonk I did it on the Friday night and got the twinges on Sunday till Saturday but I'm still get a slight twinge here and there today not as bad as it was though, doing the deed again tonight just in case... hope your okay how many dpo are you?xx

Thank you @PADonk - All well here thanks, hit 7 weeks tomorrow and have my booking appt next week then a private scan the following week. Nausea started about a week ago and sick for the first time today - I was sick every day with my first until about week 17 and then that was replaced by sciatica so I’m praying to a smoother ride!

my lines keep getting darker so I’m taking it as a positive sign. Boobs don’t hurt tho! That’s the only thing that’s making me anxious atm. I’m trying to channel positive thoughts only though but the worry creeps in every now and again x
