I’m so stupid - I kept taking the boots LH tests and then yesterday I took a one step as they arrived with the cheapie pregnancy tests in a bundle - that was so faint I thought I ovulated super early and then today I just thought I’d take both a boots one and a one step at the same time to compare them and the boots one is still quite dark… maybe I haven’t ovulated and the one steps are just rubbish.. I’ll have to do another boots one tomorrow to see if it’s going up or down in shade. I have jelly stringy CM and I wonder if it’s EWCM but as it dries on the knickers it changes to gooey?

@BB78910 hello lovely - ahh sorry it’s all been so confusing for you, they really do play with your mind those lines done they! Do you temp too? How’s that been looking if so?

Still doing ok here thanks - no real symptoms to report yet but only 4+5 currently and don’t think my sickness started with my DS until about week 7 (but then through to about week 19) I just feel so much more nervous this time and getting myself so worked up at the thought of miscarriage but for no particular reason other than I’m much more hyper aware of it this time.

@BB78910 what cd are you now? I think the onesteps are always pretty faint - they’re the ones I use and I hardly ever get a proper positive

@Bl1991 ah bless you - sorry if this thread has contributed to that. So weird how pregnancy is the one time you’re really hankering to feel awful. Just try and remember the odds are overwhelmingly that everything will be fine x

I think it’s where my first pregnancy wasn’t planned so I was a bit more naive of what to come and didn’t have the stress of trying that time round!

@BB78910 hey , well yesterday I had specs of ovulation bleed when wiping this morning bit wet watery when wiping so I'm in the 6 days of it now 💯 not had no sex since Thursday with him so that's no good but im in two minds as to get him now n go for it or not im bit confused x

@Roses12345 i was thinking that’s a very efficient service 😂 in 2 minds as you can’t be bothered with the stress of another tww, or because you don’t think there’s much point now? I’ve never had ovulation bleeding, does it mean it’s coming or already happened? X

We’ve had a consultation at an implantation clinic in Coventry (nowhere near us 😩) where they’ll take a biopsy of your womb if you’ve had recurrent miscarriages to see if there’s any issues with the lining causing them - issue is it’s self-funded so pretty £££ and you’re not meant to try the month you go as there’s a slight chance of mc… everyone else on MN seems to be very good and not try but I’m struggling with the thought of wasting a month. Plus I figure after 2 in a row the risk is pretty high anyway so what’s a smidge more? You have to book in on your peak day though for the procedure to happen 7-10 days later so need to just decide in the next few days

@PADonk tbh I don't really know its not nothing major it's a pink tinge when wiping thats all not alot but there and I have only had that about 3 times in my life, im assuming I should get ewcm today or tomorrow latest though tmi I usually get that after number 2 🫣 aswell , and two minds as to even try now x

@Roses12345 i totally get it - you just get sick of it and want your life back. For me, I think it would be balancing it between whether the TWW is more stressful or potentially regretting not having tried, but if you don’t think you would regret it then it definitely sounds like a much nicer fortnight

@Roses12345 it makes sense what you’re saying - you don’t know if you can deal with the TWW. did you go get him in the end?
@PADonk ooh the clinic sounds interesting - is this something you researched or was recommended?
did an opk today - almost positive on boots but one step still faint! So kind of think I’ve been missing my peaks cos I’ve been using cheapies 😡😡

@BB78910 do you normally use boots or one steps? I need to get to boots! When were/are you due to ovulate? Feels like you’ve been on the cusp for ages bless you

I just found it when I was looking for what’s available after 2 mcs given the crappy rule about nothing until you’ve had 3, and as every test I’ve managed to squeeze out of my GP’s come back normal. I think they do a load of research trials. https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/med/research/biomedical/tem/clinic/ As I say it’s pretty expensive but we had the consultation and the Dr was great, and I figure if it saves us going through another one and/or giving us some answers it’s worth it in the long run. Just really don’t want to risk losing a month 😥

@PADonk you know what - I think its good you’re having a look in to things - I think there should be a lot more support for conception on the NHS. What tests did you manage to get from your GP? I think you’re so close to TTC week I would hold off? Book in for a couple of weeks time then you have a plan just in case? Did you get progesterone last time round?
for me flo app says today but could be off by a day - depends on tomorrows OPK x

@BB78910 problem is you have to get it done at that time of the month, so it’s just a case of postponing if we decide not to this month. At the minute I’m leaning towards just getting it out the way and risking it - odds are it it’ll be another BFP month anyway so no harm done but I won’t then be like shite, I couldn’t got pregnant that month. Re the GP they’ve been pretty good actually - I’ve had an ultrasound, physical exam, hormone tests, thyroid, full bloods and blood clot ones. All fine 🫠 would much rather have a problem and then feel like could fix it. never had progesterone but EPU said if I get pregnant again ring them and they’ll prescribe, though this Coventry clinic seems to say you really need it before you get a BFP so hoping at the very least they’ll sort me out for that - ugh the whole thing is just exhausting 🥱

@PADonk ahh okay gotcha. Yeah maybe you’re right - just tick off all the boxes at once. I wonder if sometimes they can refer for genetic testing too as some of that can be caused by being a carrier of certain things. I reckon you just had a couple of bad really unlucky tries and actually the next one will be much better. I also didn’t conceive the cycle after my MC - I’ve read somewhere it’s actually common to not ovulate at all in the immediate cycle, like the hormone builds up but the egg never releases. How old are you if you don’t mind me asking?
and yeah I’m gonna treat that as a positive - we did DTD but it was so quick I’m hoping it actually did anything 😂 gonna try tomorrow too and just be done with it it’s exhausting. And funny thing is I used to enjoy sex so much now it’s like a chore

@BB78910 hahaha, I know what you mean. I love it when it’s super quick now, and I would have been fuming in the old days 😂😂😂 hopefully one day it’ll all be fun again 🤞🏼

We’ve both had those 23andme tests and nothing flagged up, except I’ve got that gene that means you don’t absorb folic acid properly. Not sure how you can get proper testing done, but no doubt that’ll be next on the list if this doesn’t come up with anything 😆

yeah I can totally believe the whole more fertile after a mc stuff is crap

@PADonk @BB78910 I got him yeah but I think I already ovulated, I swear this loves messing me about ,wundering if the tinge I was getting means I was ovulating then? Because I've took them ovulation dip test and they are not dark or getting dark, and I've not felt my ov left pain though either, I think i already did which would mean I'm 💯 out, just when I was getting beetroot in aswell 😂 maybe a sign to say just give up as I was thinking that anyway 🤔 anyway I'm just gunna use these couple dips I got here there's no harm is there, and by some miracle they go dark and i feel my left ovary movement lol, if they stay the same my ovulation has done me right over this month and had a major change il update anyway x

@Roses12345 maybe you just haven’t yet!! Keep dipping! If you’re irregular then nothings off the table yet!!
@PADonk I’m 28! I do hope it becomes fun again one day 🤣 such a chore honestly. Getting in the headspace because for tonight cos I’ve just gotten the darkest LH I’ve ever seen! I think I’ve just been giving up too early. I’ve basically been thinking that when it’s just about the same colour as the control line then it’s just a matter of hours till it’s a true dark and I’d just DTD that evening and be done with it so in theory last nights one would have been good enough for me. But cos I’ve had some more LHs I did one today and it’s the clearest positive. So I’ve been giving up too early!! If I don’t get pregnant this cycle I’ll be fuming 🤣I’m about to beg for another couple of nights of TTC and my DP is gonna tell me to go to hell lol

i do hope you get some answers though - you deserve to know so you can just start on the right meds / course of action

@Roses12345 i agree with @BB78910 have you checked your temperature? You’re always so in tune with your body I’d be amazed if you had without realising. Plus you did it on Thurs didn’t you? So even if you did already you could still have a chance. Either way you should def treat yourself to some beetroot, and a good drink xx

@BB78910 omg I am raging! And getting to Boots first thing tomorrow! So many bloody onesteps where I’ve been like is that actually high 😤😤😤 hahaha bless you that is the worst - you’ll both deserve a medal afterwards! And a glorious BFP! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

@PADonk thats what I’m saying!! I can’t believe I could have been pregnant all this time if I just used a proper brand actually fumin. I’m really starting to understand my body a bit more tho - I realise that I shouldn’t judge CM by what’s on your knickers (not brave enough to be scrounging around up there 🤣) and that I actually ovulate a little later than I thought and I’m relating every little symptom to something that ain’t there. Boots tests are a bit more expensive £5 for 5 but I’ve seen the benefit

@BB78910 took this it seems bit darker than today's ones but its still not as dark is it to say ovulation will il see what happens tomorrow now if i get any thats darker than this one x

@Roses12345 if it’s going darker then that’s a good sign!!

@PADonk @BB78910 this is now's still negative either I've ovulated already, or maybe tried and not even ovulated this month or I ovulate evening times so I'm gunna watch out for ovary niggles today see if I feel anything and take another dip tonight x
