hey VB,
I bled and bled for the first trimester of my first pg. It was alot of blood (TMI?), but the baby stayed put- so it doesn't always mean the worst.
Good luck for the scan, but if you do feel ill or get more blood, or feel very sore- go back and get them to check it out sooner.
keep fingers and legs crossed!

Twiga · 18/12/2004 18:23

So glad things are turning out so positive and that you're feeling brighter today. Please let us know how the scan goes Weds, lol x

Ahh bonkerz, I'm chuffed to bits that you are feeling better. I'm sure that with all your symptoms everything is hunkydory. (hugs)

Keeping everything crossed for you Bonkerz!

virginbonkerz · 20/12/2004 12:17

well have been taking it easy and have had no more bleeding etc but have just (and im sorry for being graphic) but have just wiped and have bright red watery blood but am unsure if it is coming from my episiotomy scar which does sometimes bleed! have a niggly ache in my back but not much! Think im being hypersensitive!

OP posts:
virginbonkerz · 20/12/2004 12:26

what do you all think?

OP posts:
Xmasspongecake · 20/12/2004 12:31

My episiotomy scar does this too.
I think if the blood were of a more threatening nature it would be proper thick blood rather than watery.
Continue to take it easy though and if you get any more I'd go back to the EPU if you can.
Fingers crossed for you. I bled with both my pregnancies and I know how scary it is.

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 12:32

go back to taking things easy - is there any chance of an earlier app for the scan? sending you over big hugs ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

virginbonkerz · 20/12/2004 12:35

i dont want to ring my dh as he was crushed when i had the discharge the other night! am gonna go and lie down while the midees are having their nap and see what happens! hopefully its just the scar cos i have been toileting and wiping alot! scan is on wed at 8.45 and the only way i can get an earlier one is if they take me into hospital today and dont really want to go in!
