Hi
Has anybody used them and succesfully fallen pregnant with their use.

Struggling atm as to whether to fork out the money on one.
Would like to hear some success stories from their use.

Also which are the best.

Hi - I had a kit from Boots (by family planning Assoc) which was just a series of charts and a thermometer - you take your temp first thing in the morning and plot it - when it starts to rise you are at the start of ovulation - i was a bit sceptical but easily conceived Ds and DD2 - when I backdated conception from my scans it was spot on - probably worth a go before forking out on the ovulation kits ! Good luck

I used the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor which I thought was excellent although quite pricey. It did all the counting for me and read the stick taking our the subjectivity. I'd recommend it. Took me 4 cycles to conceive at 41.

I have a clearblue moniter and its good, i wouldnt say it was great as it didnt pick up a surge for the first 4 cycles i used even though i was getting them with opks. the last 4 months i used it i got a peak though and fell pregnant finally after about about 8 months and 20 months is total of ttc. I was given mine and am using it again at the mo but its just been on high for all of this cycle i think cos my hormones are a bit screwed post miscarriage. The are very expensive and i am not entirly sure they are worth it. Its not only the moniters that are expensive, the sicks to put in it are a pound each !
