Cycle 22 of ttc #3

Have tried everything , SMEP, every day for 7 days , every other day etc etc.

PCOS but All other investigations ok and I do seem to ovulate most months. If we go past 24 cycles I’ll be trying Letrozole but I’m really hoping we get lucky. Took 3 years for #1 and 18 months for #2 .

Im just worrying that although everyone says every other day is it really enough ? From the end of my period right through to after ovulation (is exactly 48 hrs apart ok or is that too long ?)

Also has anyone tried acupuncture? Did it help ?

Hey Hun, when I did it regularly I never concieved. Last pregnancy we did it twice in the entire month and concieved, sadly ended in loss. This pregnancy we did it once, peak day and that was it for the month 😅 we had given up by then so didn't bother forcing it everyday/ every other day x

My top tip would be to use OPKs twice daily AM and PM around your suspected fertile time. Some LH surges are short and can be missed if only testing once a day. That's my experience anyway. I found acupuncture helpful when TTC too.

This is how we feel now it’s literally become a job to do and I just feel disappointed every month when I look back at my app and think ‘but we did it on the right days??!!’ I think I’ve lost hope really and just waiting to get to 24 cycles then try Letrozole for a few months and see if that helps . I had clomid with my first but they prefer to use Letrozole now so maybe that’ll work 🙏

I have PCOS but always ovulated. Clomid helped me conceive twice. It can work for a couple cycles after you take it so keep that in mind too.

Oh i didn’t know that I wonder if Letrozole is the same, as my doctor told me I can try it for 6 months , I could start immediately when I get my next period but I felt like I should give it 24 cycles naturally and if nothing then try Letrozole.

I’ve had my tubes checked a year ago, dh has had x2 SA all fine I’m so puzzled why it takes us so long it just be the pcos

We had sex every day to be sure and conceived easily. But not sure if it was that. Use a proper battery Clearblue fertility monitor so you know what’s going on

being on letrozole was amazing imo, i got pregnant on the 3rd month (very sadly ended in a loss last month at 11+6). a main benefit was just how much shorter it made my cycles, i actually was ovulating around day 14 which is just completely different for a pcos girl like me (usually anytime from day 18 to day 40+) - never knowing when ovulation is going to come makes things so much more tiring and the month really drags!! when my cycles got regulated and shorter i was just like, wow, is this what it's like for normal people??

Only did it the once and conceived
