I've been trying to get pregnant for 9 months now. I know it takes up to a year. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to help? I have 2 children already, my partner hasn't had any children. Could he be the problem? We will get checked after a year of course.

I'm just wondering why it could be taking so long when we are doing all we can think of? I was a couple of days late this month but have come on this morning so obviously out now this month. Is there anything I could take to help? I feel I am becoming a bit obsessed and sadder every month and worried it isn't going to happen? Thank you for reading.

Are you tracking so you know exactly when you ovulate? General health improvements will always bring wider benefits and can help conception so worth a try - stop drinking, healthy diet, exercise, sleep - both of you!

Must admit, we aren't the most healthy couple in the world. I do smoke, and we have a drink maybe once a week, plus food wise we could definitely do better. That will be the first step! It's so disheartening.

Regarding tracking, I only track using an app but fairly certain it's pretty accurate because I do feel ovulation pains. I have ovulation sticks but they are rather confusing, I don't understand them fully 🥴

Is there any vitamins I could buy that might help too?

I’d recommend the Clear Digital Ovulation device - it’s more pricey than the normal ones but it’s incredibly simple and doesn’t leave you in any doubt about when you could be fertile (empty circle for no chance, flashing smiley face for fertile and static smiley face for ovulation - no need to squint at lines).
