Hello ladies!

I need a place to reflect on my infertility journey. So I'll use this thread to share it.

I'm 34, I have a 4yo who was conceived on the first cycle of trying. Perfect pregnancy, natural delivery. I breastfed my DD for 1.5 years and had only one period during that time. After that weird things started to happen. My periods returned and are regular, 32-33 days. But I started to have non-stop spotting anywhere between 3-14(!) days prior to proper bleeding.

So I went to the gynecologist. I was told that probably I needed more time, all smears and scans were okay. I was advised to take a mini-pill for 3 months which stopped my spotting. However when I stopped taking it, spotting returned.

One year ago we started trying for baby number 2. After 3 months of trying I had a chemical so I went to gyno again. I was diagnosed with PCOS (lean) and polypoid uterine lining. Two doctors believed my spotting would stop after polyps removal. So I had hysteroscopy, which found only 2 (2-3mm) polyps on the cervix, removed, and all clear. Spotting didn't stop. I did more blood tests: TSH came a bit elevated (3.2, doctor wants lover than 2.5) so I'm now on medication for it. Also, I'm taking metformin and myo inositol. My progesterone is around 30 which suggests I'm ovulating. My husband had semen analysis, all good.

So what should I do next? Doctor suggests ovulation induction with lethrozole (and additional progesterone medication). But I know I ovulate (confirmed on several scans and 21 day bloods).

Have you ever had your feretin checked ?
Many sound mad but cant successfully carry a child without decenf feretin

A consultant told me in august that 40 percent of females walk around with v low feretin without knowing

Decent b12 levels = also important 4 conception - have you had your b12 level checked?

As basic as it sounds get your vit D level checked too....

Dya use ovulation tests/ strips ?

metformin can lower b12

Small update.

I did my first cycle of monitored ovulation induction with lethrozole, ovitrelle and progesterone. I got 2 folicles (I believe one was 20+, another one 12 or something), lining was good. Unfortunately, it ended up as a chemical pregnancy.

So it's my 2nd chemical in a row.
Probably I will continue with ovulation induction for a couple of months but feeling very discouraged by another chemical at the moment.
