Faint BFP and spotting - help!

Hi all, really hoping someone is able to help me by sharing any similar experiences and outcomes.

I am around 9 or 10 dpo and this morning got two faint BFPs on different brands. However, have been spotting (relatively lightly but it is always there every time I wipe) since yesterday. I normally spot before my period and also have a short luteal phase of 9-10 days. Should I prepare myself for the worst? Has anyone had similar and what was the outcome?

Hey @Emmapu Im so happy for you that you got your positives and hopefully they stick!
I also have a short luteal phase of 8 days and unfortunately I’ve had a bleed with every one of my pregnancies and they’ve all ended as a chemical pregnancy. However that being said, I know other women with short luteal phases also spot & bleed but then carry to term!

I’m on progesterone this cycle to see if that helps lengthen my luteal phase and stops the early bleeding so hoping for a BFP 🤞🏻 I’m only 3DPO so a long way to go!

Hoping to hear positive news from you 🙏

Thank you for sharing. I too have sadly had a chemical recently and am v worried this is what is going happen again. Can I ask how you got yourself onto progesterone? Did gp prescribe? Best of luck with this cycle!

@Emmapu sorry to hear that! Chemicals are so frustrating :(
I actually booked privately with Nova fertility. They do zoom calls which is what I did and prescribed me progesterone due to my he repeat chemicals.
GP won’t give you it and will only refer for further testing which can take an age.
I was £150 for the zoom appointment and then £200 for 12 weeks of progesterone plus 2 months of folic acid 5mg privately x
