Fertility nutrition advice

Hello, I’m looking for any fertility nutrition advice anyone has? Links to where I can find out more would be really useful. I haven’t been very successful in finding out much from my own googling but thought someone on here might have a good source of info. On our 12th cycle of ttc at 37, underactive thyroid and short luteal phase possibly issues although they didn’t seem to affect it the 1st time round when we conceived straightaway. At least now it’s a year I can give the doctor a ring. My IUD came out a year tomorrow. My period just came today, along with the horrible despair and disappointment that comes with it now. Every cycle I try to have a plan which helps me to stay positive so any advice would be very appreciated.

Hi @PuddleSplosher - I’ve been looking into preconception dietary advice for a while. The general consensus is: eat lots of fruit and veg, eat good sources of lean protein and healthy fats. Avoid processed foods and saturated fats. Following a Mediterranean diet is probably a good starting point, but don’t be too extreme in cutting calories or carbs.

the advice is well summarised by Tommy’s:https://www.tommys.org/pregnancy-information/planning-a-pregnancy/are-you-ready-to-conceive/tips-healthy-pre-pregnancy-diet. Hope that helps, and good luck 🤞🏻☘️

In case it’s of use to anyone else, I’m just going to post links here as I find them. If anyone wants to add any that would be really helpful.

Here’s one I was reading today about seed cycling that I’ve seen mentioned on here a bit:
