Has this happened to anyone post implant removal

Hello guys,
Before being on any contraception, I had a pretty normal 28 to 30 day cycle and usually of late between cycle day 14/15. I then conceive my son after three months of trying to conceive and then went on to have the contraceptive implant.

Its been 5 months since I've taken the contraceptive implant out. My periods are normal ranging from 28 to 30 days which has stayed the same.

The biggest change I have noticed since having the implant removed and having my son is that my ovulation date has changed from cycle day 14-15 to cycle day 12 now. This is a big change for me and I'm thinking if this is a factor of why I'm not pregnant yet as I easily conceived my son after three months of trying to conceive. I am not sure what's happened. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi @rimx it could be but could also be that you're a little older now. It depends. There are lots of reasons why ttc can take time. I conceived my first a couple of months after getting my implant out. Then I never had contraception again, but took a few years to conceive number two. I never tracked ovulation or anything like that. Unfortunately, just because you conceive one baby easily, it doesn't mean you will conceive all of them easily.

@Mostpeculiarmama thank you for your reply. It has reassured me.
