I’m either 2 or 3DPO today! Normally I know for sure but I ran out of ovulation tests and they were delivered late 😭 I do have a lot of cramping on the right side tho but I’m not symptom spotting!

@Jess1997 sounds promising! Fingers crossed it turns darker over the next few days

I’m really thinking its not the month but I guess we will see in the next few days. Saving my boots for the weekend as its closer to AF. I want to know but kinda don’t want to know if its going to be a BFN 😂

if this is not the month for me I’ll definitely have to do it differently next time. This is insane

My boobs aren’t as sore today and apart from peeing more than I tend to do and feeling tired I’m just normal and probably overthinking it!

@CatiaR i have been fully convinced this isn’t my month!! Still not getting my hopes up tho! Don’t wanna be excited and then it be a chemical! I asked my doctor recently about getting help and she said they wouldn’t even refer me until it’s been a full year since my MC in December, even tho I’ve been TTC since last April

@Jess1997 yh i try not to but I can’t wait for it to happen for us as everyone does. Its only our first cycle for our first baby so can’t complain too much!

yh its hard to get the gp to do anything, I pray that we won’t have trouble conceiving but who knows!

Its nice to be able to chat with others in the same position at least tho

@CatiaR i was so incredibly lucky with my little girl, we weren’t trying to get pregnant but also weren’t using any protection! And she is the best thing that’s ever happened to me! I just really hope I can give her a sibling 😭😭 I had no idea it would be this hard! Also I’m on these chats every month and normally there’s always one that gets a positive test and it’s never me 😭

@Jess1997 ah very lucky girly! I’m sure you’ll be able to give her a sibling.

so tired I’m already in bed with the puppy, she turned 9 months today and decided to start her first heat yesterday! Hopefully I won’t join her next week 😂

@CatiaR oh no way! What kinda dog is she? I was puppy sitting for my mums dog yesterday and she is also going into her first heat and she kept presenting herself to my cat not even my dog 🙃🙃🙃

she wasn’t actually acting any different at all until I noticed some blood.

and another cheapie BFN, well now in the weekend will use my boots early detection and see how it goes.

still got sore boobs and lower tummy is slightly tight and crampy but at this point I don’t even know 🙈

@CatiaR im feeling so frustrated! Woke up expecting my lines to be slightly darker but even tho they are still there they’re still equally as faint as yesterday’s tests 😭

@Jess1997 Don't worry too much! I heard that you may need to skip a day to see a more noticeable difference but I'm not that experienced so not too sure

✨TW - MMC & Workplace Politics✨

My husband and I sadly had a MMC in Feb after 10 months TTC, shortly after I was offered a new opportunity in a different job and am much happier as I was miserable in my old workplace, I started this job on 3rd July.

I just wondered if anyone has experience with TTC after starting a new job? I love my new job but so miserable knowing our first baby would be due next month it’s killing us holding off when we both really want this. I’m 30 and my husband is 31 so I know we’re young but we ideally want to be finished having children by the time I’m 35 but it took us a while to get pregnant before and worried it takes this long again, I’m just lost at what to do.

I feel guilty as I’ve been given this amazing opportunity but also hate that I’m putting the potential views of my employer before our own desires to start a family, feels like us women are royally shafted no matter what we do.

My husband and I were thinking on trying again in the New Year by which point I’ll have been in my job for 7/8mths, does this sound ok or do you think that’s still to soon?

Not experienced with TTC and new workplace but I work in HR so have some ideas on it, honestly if your employer is good they shouldn't mind it at all! it would be discriminatory otherwise as being pregnant is a protected characteristic in the equality act.

But one thing for you to think being in a new workplace is their maternity policy - do they have some sort of company full pay at all and if so do they have a policy regarding how long you have to be employed to be eligible for it.

In my workplace to be eligible to get company enhanced pay you need to be employed for a year.

Have a think of those and then decide when its best for you to start trying.

No I just get SMP we don’t have any benefits in that sense so financially it wouldn’t make a difference waiting.

then effectively as you say if you only get SMP you can decide to TTC whenever you want really, considering how long it can take to conceive and then adding another 9 months of pregnancy on top, it shouldn't matter to much, personally probably wouldn't wait but only you know your employer :)

@SMurph22 don’t worry it’s not a hijack were all here for the same reason ❤️❤️ personally I’d say not to worry about your job and start trying! The way I see it is there will always be jobs out there! There’s no harm in starting trying for a baby ❤️

Thank you ♥️ you’re so right and I needed to hear this. If I end up reducing my chances because I waited for my employer to be happy I’d never forgive myself.

@Jess1997 hi! Cramping most of the day but eased off after a nice warm bath

still BFNs with the cheapies, seen many recent bad reviews on them so holding small hope that could be it. Testing with boots early detection tomorrow so fingers crossed.

@CatiaR what brand are your cheapies?? This might be TMI but I’ve been constipated all day and I literally never ever get constipated unless I’m pregnant 😂😂 I’m still getting faints! Bought more of the boots early response and they have faint lines on them too! Really really hoping they will be darker tomorrow!

@Jess1997 one step, but they may be fine since I just got a BFN on the boots too. I think I’m out, AF is due in 2 days.

not testing anymore until/if I miss it. Quite disappointing, I wonder what my body is doing since it’s totally not normally like this 🙈
