Officially back to 1dpo...2nd cycle after MMC. Anyone else??

@thejollytrolleydolly i see that line !!!! How many dpo are you ? I’m 6dpo this morning , I’m working for the day though and on call this weekend so going to try and make it until Friday to pull out the FRER . This is our second last cycle to TTC before going back to our IVF clinic so I’m not sure I feel hopeful. Our OBGYN said to try for 3 months post miscarriage , that we would be more fertile but I’m so sceptical

I read a post on premom the app I use to track this morning which kind of stung, it was basically someone who's been trying for a long time saying to everyone to not test, don't symptom spotting and only wait for period as the sign because it's so stressful. I can understand this view totally, but also doesn't everyone have their own way of coping? I know for me, I have to do everything I can before I can move on with things, it's my way of coping so if that's testing then I do it so I can get on with the rest of the day as I'd be obsessing all day otherwise and working myself up to convince myself either way. Not sure if that makes sense but it got to me a bit, kind of made me feel silly for symptom spotting and testing early but I shouldn't, it's my way of having a coping strategy.

Anyway, I'll wait until I'm 6 or 7dpo and test from then because that works for me and so I can function in the day

@Hopefulfirstround I'm only 8dpo but this is what I was hoping too. I've had one AF since my MMC and I've been told you're super fertile after! I know when I ovulated last month and my partner was ill for those exact 4 days so I didn't get to DTD at all. This month I ovulated on the morning of the 11th. I'll post the pics of when we dtd on the days we did we did more than once... I don't know if that helped 😂

I’m 2DPO. Knowing me I’ll probably start testing from next Thursday, so 10DPO.

@Twocatstwodogs you can do whatever you want! I am a daily tester and it keeps me sane! It would be more stressful knowing I could test but aren't. I hate the unknown! I would rather than a bfn than not know at all xx

I'm 7dpo I think or I could be Abit more or a bit maybe a day out either side 🙈 I don't do ovulation sticks it would stress me out!

I had a crazyyy dream I was in labour last night so vivid!

No need symptoms for me just the usual twinges and bad wind probably that's what the twinges are aswell 🤣🤣🙈

We’ve been ttc #1 for 13 months and I’ve started to get so down. This tww is so so stressful but I absolutely love seeing everybody get their bfp’s on here!
I’m on CD18, but only got chance to dtd on CD7/8 and CD15/16. (On CD15 I had pink/brown CM straight after dtd that lasted a couple of hours (trying to convince myself this could be either ovulation spotting or implantation) but I do think I’m out this month. I did a random OPK on CD12 which was positive but didn’t DTD around that day.
How are you all getting on?

I fell back to sleep and had another really messed up dream 🤦‍♀️ my OH was the one that was pregnant and we had already had a miscarriage but he still had a massive bump 🤦‍♀️

I'm 5dpo now @Twocatstwodogs I've seen loads of posts saying that there's no way anyone would get symptoms before 12dpo and it's stupid to think otherwise and not to test early blah blah blah... Well wouldn't it be a perfect world if we all chilled n waited etc... We aren't all like that some of us prefer to symptom spot and early test and as long as that works for us then stuff what anyone else thinks.

Also this is my 2nd ovulation after my mmc and with everyone saying and me reading that I'm more fertile in the first 3 months I just know if we haven't managed it this month I'm going to be super stressed about it 😩 we've literally dtd so much we were both exhausted. I just know how my brain works and if I'm not preg this month I'm going to start freaking out. This is my chart... We couldn't have dtd more

I recently went to the GP, 34 years old with no health conditions, regular 26-29 day cycles and DP already has DD from previous relationship. The GP referred me for CD21 bloods which all came back fine (47.7 progesterone level) so indicating I’m ovulating.
So I’m becoming so down and upset why it isn’t happening! The earliest fertility apt I can get is 8th March!
How long have you all been trying for?

Have you been offered any scans or anything to check your ovaries and tubes etc?

We have a 2 year old together and we fell pregnant again in late Feb but unfortunately had a miscarriage in may. So ttc since then 🤞

@TK220440 I understand how frustrated you feel it happened to me for years with my first but we did get our lovely boy! I done the 'don't think about it anymore' which I had to because it was getting me down. Have you thought about doing the smep method (someone correct me if that's wrong 🤣) when the sperm meets egg? Maybe give that a go

It’s crazy how easy I thought ttc would be! Never did I expect it to take long.
I’m assuming it will be my apt in March that I may be offered the scans of tubes etc but that just seems so far away.
How many DPO are you now?

I’ve never heard of the SMEP method.. Is that what worked for you?

@Jadeypie Ah I just googled it… We generally have quite an active sex life (3 times a week) and I was so careful not to put pressure on DP or ruin our sex life by ‘forcing’ it but we did have the conversation last week where he said I need to openly tell him when my fertile week is so that we can get busy (that was a relief to hear)

Yeah it's been the worst experience of my life... Its changed me so much.
Yes you're probably right about the scans etc... You could always say you've got a lot of pain in your tubes or cervix etc n the gp would have to get you in for a scan!! Sometimes you have to tell little porkies to get what you need.

That's what I'd do anyway I know they have to request a scan then. I'd be due af 28th, probably test on Saturday at 8dpo coz I'm crazy 😂
