Hiya.
I came off the pill on 13th June to start trying for a baby. But I haven’t come on since, but am experiencing early pregnancy signs. I feel like I am pregnant but tests say negative atm.
is there a chance I could be pregnant?
how do I determine my cycle?

You determine your cycle by coming off the pill and waiting for your first ‘real’ period - usually 4 weeks or after stopping the pill.

When you came off the pill was it in your usual break week? Did you have your usual 'pill' period?

no, I am on the continuous pill so don’t have breaks..

Oh right, I've never been on that one so I've no clue. I guess if you don't have a period 5 weeks after finishing your pill then I would think you might be.

I have zero patience with waiting to find out if I am pregnant though so would be buying the cheap tests on Amazon for when I inevitably did not wait until week 5! But if you can that would be best or you will drive yourself mad.

From the NHS:

Your periods may be irregular when you first come off the pill, and you should allow up to 3 months for your natural menstrual cycle to fully re-establish itself.

This is because the pill contains the hormones that stop the release of an egg (ovulation) each month.

The first period after stopping the pill is known as a "withdrawal bleed". The next one after this is your first natural period.
