Question about secondary infertility after primary infertility

Saw doc yesterday, who is referring me to hospital. We went through all this before, I have PCOS, dh has low motility. Tried for 3 years, then under hospital for 18 months. Tried metformin, Clomid, nothing worked, no ovulation apparent in ridiculously long time, hospital said IVF was only chance. We gave up and got pregnant with dd a year later. But, 2 1/2 years on, we are back in same position.

So (if you are still reading...) does anyone know if I have to start from scratch at the hospital, or will they forgo endless blood tests and just cut to the chase??

I'd imagine they should just get on with it. After all - they have your diagnosis so shouldn't really need to go through endless investigative tests. Having said that if it's the NHS who knows...Good luck x

I've just been to see fertility doc after having my first child (I have endo, went through laps and IVF before getting pregnant spontaneously). He wanted to do just two tests - an ultrasound to look at ovaries and uterus, and an HSG to check tubes are still ok and for scar tissue from c-section. I imagine yours would want to do the same, but btw they will definitely want a new sperm analysis, and prob will want to check your hormone levels since that's so important with PCOS.
