Fibroid advice (anxiety)

Hi there. We are just in the first couple of months of TTC. back in February I found out I had a subserosal fibroid measuring 3.2cm x 3.1cm x 2.4cm "arising from pisterior aspect of uterus" "in an otherwise normal uterus". My GP said that it wasn't a concern and needed nothing doing as was classed as small and wasn't obstructing anything, and therefore a referral was not required (she did an "advice referral" which confirmed the same).

However I feel so anxious about it. There was no mention of monitoring it or anything and I'm scared that it causes problems if I manage to conceive. I'm considering whether I should go private to get a second opinion or whether I'm generally just over-worrying about it.

Please can anyone share their experiences who have perhaps had similar, in terms of whether its something I should have dealt with before I try to conceive?

I'm also anxious about the fact that I'm 35 and this is my first time TTC.

Thank you

I have five of them. No problems getting pregnant or carrying the pregnancy to term. The NHS won’t remove them if they’re not causing problems.
