Perfect condom use twice on fertile day. What’s the chances I’m pregnant as I have metallic taste and fatigue?

I have been pregnant 5 times over the last 4 or so years (3 miscarriages) and every time the egg implants I get instant symptoms like dizziness, metallic taste and fatigue. These symptoms usually show up before CD 21

My partner and I only had sex twice this month but it was during my fertile window. Used condoms they didn’t break or anything we are usually very careful as baby no2 was a surprise baby 🫢

CD 18 (6DPO) I get this instant feeling of fatigue and metallic taste. Had to go to bed early which I never ever do!
now CD 19 and the fatigue has hit again and also the metallic taste.

can this just be a hormonal imbalance or is it what I think it is?

Surely the chances are pretty slim to be pregnant while using condoms?

There's really only one way to find out, this is all just speculation over a few generic symptoms.

It’s possible op. Max success rate is around 90% iirc with perfect use and can be as low as 65% with imperfect use iirc. Read a study on this at one point as i can’t take the pill.

Have you got any tests to hand?

Take a test, the Internet can’t tell you.

The concept of ‘perfect’ condom use doesn’t exist, so yes you could be pregnant. Only one way to find out.

We are 2 and done awaiting a vasectomy. So a bit anxious! No offence taken x

I had all sorts of symptoms when I was ttc and the month I conceived I had no signs.

PMS can cause the same signs as pregnancy and if you're worried about being pregnant, your brain might be playing tricks on you.

While condoms aren't 100% reliable, this is generally because people don't use them right or they burst. If all the sperm stayed in the condom and there was no penetration without the condom, you're likely not pregnant.

Have you been exposed to Covid? I had metallic taste with that, maybe a tad more tired than usual (no other symptoms, knew I wasn't pregnant due to age)

This was my symptoms on CD 18 with my baby boy 😬😬😬

Just as another note …
my sister has been ttc for years and just failed her first IVF cycle 2 days ago 😔

this is not something she needs to hear it would absolutely break her right now

(kind of why I’m so anxious about it & the fact my partner’s mental health has been so bad since we had our second baby)

I agree with others if you were that bothered you’d take a test asap.

Take an ovulation test! They detect pregnancy far, far sooner than pregnancy tests and you've already ovulated this cycle so you know if it's positive that it's not ovulation you're detecting

I detected my pregnancy 8 days after conception using an ovulation test. Didn't show up on a FRER/Any other pregnancy test for another 10 days

Ok everyone it is impossible to test positive on cycle day 19. I usually get BFP CD21

im not asking for people to tell me if I’m pregnant I was just looking for other people’s experiences with early symptoms and condom use. Thank you to those that have give constructive responses 😊

If you have symptoms then a test is likely to show, even a faint line. People do start getting positives at 6/7DPO. No form of contraception is 100% so yes, there is a chance you could be pregnant but stories either way aren’t going to hep you.

I had a strong metallic taste around 5 DPO. Was certain I was pregnant. Just knew it. POAS around a week later, negative. A few days later, still negative. A few days later, faint positive. DS3 is now 10.

For me that metallic taste is unmistakable.
