Consistent positive ovulation strips?

I had my peak three or four days ago and my strips have stayed positive or almost positive since. Typically my LH dips dramatically within hours of my peak. Has this happened to anyone else??

Consistent positive ovulation strips?

Have you taken a pregnancy test recently? Supposedly some lh strips can pick up HCG. If not I'd say your body is trying to ovulate but not managing to so keeps trying. Have you confirmed ovulation with bbt at all?

I second this suggestion. Good luck!

@Ttcmumma I have and they've been negative! I am almost positive I have ovulated because it was a very strong peak and very strong ovulation cramps to back it up. So it would just be strange for it to pick up hcg so soon I feel like

@mdbar that result looks strong but not positive.
Regarding the hcg, LH tests can possibly pick up on hcg but at 3 DAYS after your peak you would not be producing hcg. It's simply not possible . You release an egg anywhere from 12 hours to 3 days after a positive and then the egg has to be fertilised and then make the journey through the fallopian in what they call the 5 day blastocyst stage. Only then if the egg survives to day 5 will it implant in the uterus and your body will produce hcg. I'd rule that straight out. Most likely your body has failed to actually pop the egg out which often happens.
A peak test doesn't mean you've ovulated. Nor do the ovulation pains . Positive LH just means you've surged the hormone which is responsible for the pain /release of an egg your experiencing. You can most definitely get ovulation pain and peak and not have released the egg.
LH also fluctuates throughout the cycle in every woman and it can be normal for women to see higher readings throughout the cycle which is why lh tests arent a reliable indicator of releasing an egg. If it was there wouldn't be any need for blood tests to confirm ovulation. If it continues I'd get a blood test just to rule out any condition that causes lh levels to be elevated in the body.
