No ovulation after CP - feeling very down

Hi all, I had a cp about 5 weeks ago. Second loss as I had a mc in August as well. My preg tests are fully negative.

Around two weeks ago, I started getting egg white mucus and ovulation tests were high but not peaking, the purple clearblue had the flashing smiley for ages but never static. In the past week now my boobs are quite sore and I've had random bouts of cervical mucus but no peak. I've utterly devastated. I was so in tune with my body prior to this and now I've no control.

@Ella31 I have had two losses too. My recent miscarriage was December and ovulation tests peaked this cycle but not the one before that. You might just need to give it another cycle or two to regulate it is so frustrating though isn't it x

Two things that it's worth noting on this. 1 - every woman's peak is different, though you would expect an obvious positive on an ovulation test to indicate a true peak some women's isn't always as strong. If you look up research on ovulation testing it will explain in more detail.
2 - a peak on a test doesn't necessarily indicate you are definitely going to ovulate. It just indicates you are ready to. Tracking temp changes is the best way to confirm. So your high LH but with no obvious peak could still be a peak, and if you are charting temp through your cycle you'll be able to get more info. I know prior to my bfp my peaks actually have quite a range to them!
