Boots 5 day early test reviews

Hi,
I was just wondering if the Boots 5 day early pregnancy tests are known for evap lines? Or has anyone had any experience with them.
I have taken one today at 10dpo (not fmu) and can see a vvfl.

I think that looks positive @Rhi2501 a evap is grey, or isn’t the same thickness as the test line x

Hey all, just looking for second opinion on these.. 2 mc’s this year so hopeful this will be it!! 11dpo basing off Flo but could be a off by 1 or 2 days as I’m not usually regular ☺️
oh and this was within the 3-5 minute timeframe

Hi, I wonder did you have a beta done? I have been through IVF and had my beta today at 10 days past 5 day transfer and it came back at 80. Your lines look similar to mine I think? Just looking for hope that I will make it to a live birth I guess 😟

Hello, I just wondered what the outcome of yours was Ellie, looking for good news! My tests are still really light, I'm 10 and 11 dp5dt or around 15 dpo. I need to take a better picture, but I can see that ideally they d be darker.

Hi all! Hope its okay that i jump on to this thread🙈 i got the boots 5 day early test after reading everyones reviews on it on this thread. I done a test today at 10DPO and wondering if anyone can see a line or am i just convincing myself? Thank you!!

@Gmox89 it's a line and there's pink in it, so this looks good to me, 10dpo is as early as you can expect to see something really so you're never going to get a dark line at this point.

Hi Gmox89, yay a line! Crossing my fingers and hoping it gets nice and dark for you.
Just wanted to say that I discovered testing in the afternoon gave much stronger results, I must drink a lot over night😄. I still really like boots and would definitely use them, but i did get better lines with First Response from Amazon in the end.
I thought I would post a progression pic in case it's helpful to anyone out there.

Hi all, me again! Tested again this morning and the line is just as faint as 10DPO and doesnt look like its got any stronger. But faint line definitely came up alot faster than 10DPO test. Ive heard if the line isnt stronger than most risk of miscarriage? But im hoping if its picked it up alot faster than the first one then theres hope?🥺 Ive had 3 miscarriages and im praying this is my rainbow baby.🙏🏼

@Spencellor Hi!! Thank you for checking in with me😊 these are my results so far. The 13DPO test was taken tonight at 9pm so im hoping my urine was just diluted🙈 going to hold off until at least Monday before i test again. Aunt flo due on Saturday so i know im definitely testing too early. Just a little impatient🥺

@Jojo1123 hi! I can definitely see a line in the first picture! All you can do is wait at least another two days and see if it's got darker, and if so, I would suggest getting a clearblue how many weeks test. I thought I was 15DPO today, and my line was still very faint, so i phoned my EPU, and they suggested i get the weeks test as i thought i was miscarrying. She said im looking for 2-3 weeks, but it came up 1-2 weeks, so i was maybe off a few days on my ovulation dates. Midwife said the early detection tests are a hit and miss and as today was supposed to be the day my period came, that i should use a normal test now.These were my tests, i hope it helps! Sorry to jump on. But I fear I may have gotten an evap on the boots test 😭 what do you all think? This was exactly 4dp5dt down to the hour (I’m crazy I know 😂)

@Ks8895 4dp5dt is pretty much the earliest you can expect a positive, so there's no way to know if this is a positive or not. It will always be very faint at this point. If you can see pink in it then that would be a good sign but you have to leave it longer and retest really.

I was away so I’m only guessing my ovulation but I think I’m around 11-12 DPO according to Flo.

Are you sure they are as sensitive? I thought the boots ones were 10mlu, whereas FRER are 6.5mlu.

Why can't more brands be 6.5mlu!

@Ks8895 well the line looks darker even though you're comparing wet to dry, I would avoid comparing wet tests to dry tests by the way. You need to take a photo at the time it says to read it and compare the pictures. Because they tend to dry darker which can cause people to get quite stressed when comparing.

Yeah totally get that! I’m reading todays tests wet, within time frame so I’m not too concerned if yesterdays darkened up when drying! Fingers crossed for progress✨
