Easy at home ovulation tests

Hello, this is my first cycle tracking my ovulation. I have PCOS, so it makes it hard. Am I crazy or do all my test lines pretty much look the same😩 I have no idea when I normally ovulate, as my cycles can be 17 days or 5 months? Any insight on a consistent line?

Hi! Fellow PCOS sufferer here!
Not an expert on ovulation tests as I’ve only just started using them this month too but I would say that doesn’t look like you have ovulated yet.
There are always two lines on the LH tests as you always have some LH in your system, and people with PCOS often have more than is normal so have a stronger baseline line.
Have you had any signs of ovulation, EWCM/ pains etc?
Keep testing, fingers crossed that you get a peak soon!

Try using the Premom app to scan these
They'll give you a 'number' against each which should go up as the line darkens, none are positive until the control line matches the darkness of the test line

It does seem that with the pcos you have a higher base level of LH in your system...

However if you scan them in, and also track bbt you'll get a much clearer idea of the pattern of ovulation, it's good you're doing multiple per day as well though that makes it much easier to find the 'peak'

Highly recommend Premom to give you a clearer idea though

Definitely use the premom app, it does all this for you so you don’t have to do all that.

Sorry for the confusion, I definitely do use the Premom app, I’m just a lover of making physical charts as well. The app is where I got all the numbers in the far right columns. I’ll attach a screenshot of what my app says, thanks everyone!

Does anyone have any idea how high my peak might be if my baseline is already elevated?

@Hanners000 not sure, my "peak" was 0.63 one time as that was my highest for that cycle and it was confirmed with BBT, my next peak was 0.93 the next cycle, i have a rapid peak so i think i caught it more in the middle this time instead of the end of the peak.

Do you track BBT?

Premom changes the "peak" depending on previous cycles so you might not know until it's been a few cycles, first cycle it called my 0.63 low but then after that was my "peak" it changed 0.63 to high for me.... so it learns what your normal readings are....

I’m waiting for blood tests because my GP suspects PCOS, my LH levels go up and down and generally all over the place. Some months my base levels are high, sometimes lower.
I do generally get a stronger positive around OV but I can only confirm with BBT, I generally can’t use LH as a sign that my body is ramping up to ovulate because there’s no clear progression like some people seem to get. I also stopped testing twice a day, it didn’t seem to help me catch the peak and over a 2-3month cycle it gets quite intense.

I don't have PCOS, but my periods were all over the shop and I never found out why. I got pregnant using easy at home ovulation tests so I obviously think they're great! My 'peak' the month I got pregnant was only 0.88. I'd maybe try and do them at the same time every day to see if you get a better pattern.

Now at 8.5 months post partum now my periods still haven't returned.
