Has anyone used the amazon baby plan early detection tests?

Sorry I'm a bag of nerves been ttc for 3 years with never even a shadow on a pregnancy test.

I took a baby plan test this evening and got a faint line (I'll post pic) I'm 11dpo so very early I did a frer yesterday and no line at all.

I've read a few reviews on amazon that these gave false positives or had indentation. And so im convinced it must be that.

Had anyone used these tests before and what do you think/ what's your experience.

Is using an early clear blue tomorrow at 12dpo too early or shall I wait until Saturday?

Thank you!!

Hi all slightly panicked!!

Have my lines got lighter this morning? Top from 12dpo, 13dpo and 14dp. I did go to bed about 2 and half hours later last night and up early so my fmu was based on 6 hours rather than usually 8hours.

I've had cramping since last night no bleed though. Should I be worried this is a chemical? 😔

Don't worry OP!
Anything can change a line. If you've drank lots of water, not waited long enough to wee etc. the line is still a solid line.
And don't worry about cramps. Cramps are part and parcel of pregnancy and unfortunately they feel (in my case) exactly the same as period cramps. Even if you have another little bleed try not to worry. You've got fantastic lines for how early you are.

How about booking in for a private early scan??

@comingoutofmycageandillbedoingjustfine thank you for your reassurance!! I left it an hour and the line had gone darker when it dried its still similar darkness to yesterday but understand they increase in colour more every 48 hours is that right?

I will be booking an early viability scan just due to my anxiety! I see I can book one from 6 weeks, I wasn't sure if it was worth booking for week 6 or 7 I understand week 7 will be more likely to have a heartbeat? Which will likely ease my mind. Did you do an early scan?

When I decided to go on my booze bender (still can't believe I did that 🙊) I was 5 weeks. When I had my scan I was just before 6 weeks and we saw a heart beat.

Not everyone sees a HB at 6 weeks but you'll be able to see the yolk / told sac and fetal pole and to make sure the pregnancy is in the right place.

If it's making you super anxious (I know I was) maybe book it for 6 and a half weeks.

@comingoutofmycageandillbedoingjustfine I called early pregnancy unit at the hospital today (as I'm under gynaecology consultant for the letrozole they have seen me before when I had a cyst). They did bloods and said I'd have to wait for them to come back before booking me in for a scan - which they are happy to do to check everything is where it should be etc. But if hcg is too low then I'd have to wait for a scan and come back foe second bloods. I got results back an hour ago and hcg is at 251 (at 15dpo) she said to go back Wednesday for second bloods then they will look at booking a scan - I imagine a scan will now be next week. But that may put my mind at rest and stop me needing to book a private one- I'll see though!

I tried a digital test today and that came up 1-2 weeks pregnant ive officially stopped testing now!

Does 251 seem about right?

Thanks for checking in!

My HCG at I think it was 14 DPO IIRC they wanted a number anywhere above 100. Your numbers sound great OP! Glad you've managed to get a little bit of reassurance. And good the digi was coming back a bit more accurate now! So happy for you OP❤️

@comingoutofmycageandillbedoingjustfine Oh that's good to know so im about where I should be hopefully!!

I've had some pain/cramping on my left side that seems more noticeable that other cramps I've had the last couple of days. Not sure its my cyst (i know my cyst is that side) with all the hormones it may be doing something to it. But I've got in my head it may be ectopic (literally just because I'm anxious! And it's to one side!) So I think a scan to know its in the right place will really help.

I'm definitely a lot calmer today though and acceptedthat I can't control what's going to happen and I'm doing everything I can do so just have to wait and see!!

Appreciate you checking in! Thank you!

My ECG at 14 DPO was 163 OP, I've just gone through my IVF notes.

Just an extra but if reassurance that your numbers are fantastic. Fingers crossed for a lovely rise in your next bloods.
I know what it's like longing and waiting for a DC, which is why I've been so invested in your post.

I hope it's a sticky bean getting nice and settled in there for a happy & healthy 9 months ❤️

Also - your embryo would've settled in one side or the other. Normally the side you ovulated from. It's totally normal to get cramps on one side! You probably won't get any big cramps of your whole tummy yet as it's so small but the cramping to one side you're feeling is probably implantation cramps. :)

@comingoutofmycageandillbedoingjustfine that's so nice of you thank you! I really appreciate the support!

That is reassuring 🤞🏼 I also think it could be my cyst so I'm trying to not worry and tell myself it's that!

From what I've googled I think they like your hcg to be at 1000 for an early scan so maybe they will offer that for end of the week or early next week if my hcg levels have risen enough on my next bloods.

Hi @weststreet thanks for checking in. I'm still very anxious but hopeful.

My 4+1 bloods Monday were 251 then 48 hours later on Wednesday they 567 which EPU were happy with, they want my hcg over 1500 for a scan, they booked me in for more bloods tomorrow to check I'm doubling, and have pre booked an early scan for me on Thursday next week which I have asked for, but they have warned me it may be too early too see much/or heartbeat (il be 5+4) But I just want to know its in the right place to stop my anxiety of an ectopic. If they don't detect a heartbeat they have warned me il have to wait a full 2 weeks before another scan I know I'm probably better to wait until the following week but not sure il be able to!

Oh I'm so pleased OP those are great numbers!

If you don't see a HB at the scan please don't worry. It can be up to 7 weeks before a HB but you may get lucky. I did with DD. It'll prob be a transvaginal scan. Fingers crossed for you but those numbers are great!

@weststreet thank you! It did help calm the nerves a bit getting my bloods back. I just feel like there's still so much that can go wrong this early and I know how devastated I will feel if I'm too hopeful! I just need to manage my anxiety as best as possible the next few weeks! I also hope it goes as quick as possible!

Hey OP, just checking in to see how you are??

Hello @weststreet I was actually thinking to message you today so thank you for thinking of me and the message!

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster the last couple of days!

I had my early epu scan yesterday. I had calculated to be at 5+4 they put me at 5+5. Gestational sac and yolk was seen in my uterus but Dr said they wouldn't rule out an ectopic pregnancy unless they saw a heartbeat in my uterus which they didn't. But they said it is also too early for a heartbeat anyway. They basically said pregnancy hormones can still grow the sac and yolk in the uterus even if ectopic. So I went into overdrive and was highly upset and emotional. Also didnt expect to see a heartbeat so early but as that was what they said they needed to confirm all is okay and I know some women do get them in their 5th week I was so anxious. I spent a lot of yesterday crying, and didn't sleep. I also spotted fresh blood last night, I hadn't had cramps for days yet all night they were really bad. So mentally I was preparing foe a period all over again. No sign of bleeding today.

Today I decided to call a private scan clinic to book something for next week, or if I'm honest I won't be able to be around family over Easter with our parents knowing and being excited and I can't justify being excited when I'm so much in limbo. I've booked my scan for 6+5 in hope there is a heartbeat then and I can relax a bit, if I don't get that my easter plans will be cancelled while I sulk I imagine 🙈 sounds very depressive I know. But I just can't be around people talking about it happening if I haven't got some kind of hope.

But when talking to the private clinic today they were really reassuring about yesterday's scan and said that the likelihood of sac and yolk growing in the uterus and still having an ectopic is 1 in 30,000 and apparently some Dr's air on the side of caution so don't rule ectopic out this early. This made me feel so much better. I just feel a bit upset that epu couldn't have given me more reassurance yesterday that it was highly unlikely.

Sorry for the essay it's all been a lot of information to take in. I'm a lot calmer today and just need to wait another 6 days for the scan in hope it brings me something that that tells me the pregnancy is viable.

Struggling to talk to my friends and mum about it as they all don't really understand the anxiety and think I should just be positive and get on with it and enjoy being pregnant. I would love to feel like that but at such an early stage with so many uncertainties I can't.

Oh OP what a rollercoaster.
Christ that doctor was more than erring in the side of caution!! Once you see a yolk and sac in situ the chances of having an ectopic are SO minimal. It's not even worth telling you! But to us that have struggled and longed for a baby, we'll fixate on that. I totally understand but I hope the second person you spoke to managed to reassure you a bit.

Yes yes it's still super early to see a HB. But everything is totally in your favour and please don't worry (I know who am
I kidding) about the bleeding. I bled fresh blood on and off for 9 weeks. Every time I wiped I panicked and even by the 9th week I was still shit scared but I cannot stress to you enough just how normal bleeding is in pregnancy. It's so so common. As long as it's not huge clots. If you get cramps it's also okay, your womb will be starting to stretch and grow soon. I really hope your scan next week goes well!

If you ever want to PM me for a chat or to keep me updated rather than on this thread feel free. I know how lonely it is in those early days not telling anyone about it but also feeling lost that I couldn't talk to anyone about the bleeding apart from dr google who just said I was miscarrying after every search! I've got everything crossed for you OP, but The fact you saw the yolk and sac this early in the right place is amazing news! Have you started getting any symptoms yet??
