2dpo - any TWW companions?

Lost track of which cycle we're on now but almost 2 years trying, with 4MC. Hoping one of these days we'll get our bfp and it'll stick. Sending baby dust to all our there on their TWW x

I am feeling very tetchy and emotional and, almost gearing myself up for a disappointment before its even happened. The TWW is always such a head spin and I've sunk a bit in the last 2 days. Of course, I've tested as i can't help it, and of course, they've been BFN! I'm going to try not to test until 10dpo.

@vix_85 bfn for me today; cracked on with some exercise as soon as I saw it and the buzz got me through - then I also went for an early morning stroll with a friend which helped as I know now I’m out for sure.

I hope you’re all feeling okay coming into the final stages of the TWW - they’re rough every time and I wish I could hug every woman struggling through them ✨🤍

Got a BFN today at 9dpo which I know is early to test but AF isn’t due for a week!! Longest week ever! Have family coming to town so will be busy even if AF shows up. Sore boobs don’t hurt as much today and I’m moody and want carbs so probably just bad PMS

@vix_85 thank you! I am feeling strangely okay about it this time. Perhaps it because I didn’t have opportunities to try properly due to being unwell / which takes the sting out of it.
when I know I’ve given it my all and it comes up BFN thats when it gets me.

I am so hoping the tears are a good sign otherwise my husband genuinely thinks I'm losing the plot!x

@Tophy124 9dpo is still really early so don't lose hope. This TWW is definitely dragging! x

Hi @Tophy124 I cracked and tested this morning at 8-9dpo and no suprise, BFN on a boots cheapie. I am now away with work for a few days which will be a welcome distraction before I'll try a clearblue early digital on Thursday.

I still cried this morning as I am genuinely not sure how long I can keep trying. It's breaking me every month we don't get our BFP. I'm 37 so I'm very aware time running out to even have one child, let alone the 2 I'd always hoped for. It's all just a bit shit.

@vix_85 Im sorry and I understand completely! Those stark white BFN feel like a kick in the teeth. I think I will test on Thursday too! But I’m expecting a BFN as I don’t feel pregnant and any cramps etc I had have gone. Boobs aren’t as sore etc. Don’t think we got my ovulation day correct this month either as my OPKs never got over 1 on the days I tested but as it said peak I stupidly stopped testing and stopped trying!! My husband got ‘too tired’ so we missed my regular ovulation days which is frustrating

@Tophy124 I do find some variance in my LH peak figures. Some have been >1 and some in the 0.8s. Keep the testing and BBT going. They say BBT is best indicator of confirming ovulation but the LH gives the window.

They stay to say calm and stress free in all of this.....Sure! Haha! I
Fingers crossed for us both on Thursday and until then, keeping sane! x

@vix_85 I never do BBT as I’m usually up around 5.45-6am and I always need to pee asap and I’m sure it’s then not predictable? Sounds ridiculous I know lol. Does BBT have to be in the morning?

Hi @Tophy124, I think they recommend the morning. Mine isn't as neat as they like as I gravel for work so can test 0430 one day at 7am the next but it's still been a good resource to track ovulation.

@vix_85 ahhhhhh congratulations - loving a success story on this link. My AF arrived today despite a very different cycle to what I’m used to and a BFN earlier in the week. But it obviously wasn’t meant to be! Hopes for the next cycle!

@vix_85 congrats! How many DPO are you? I got a BFN today at 12dpo so think I’m out this month x

@tophy yesterday I was 10-11dpo as I had some contradiction between apps. We're here to keep you company until you know for sure x

I'm very nervous as this is the 5th BFP in 2 years but no babies yet. We got tested privately recently to see what was happening but although nothing obvious it's gives me access to self-pay progesterone support so that's where I'm headed today.

Calm thoughts and positivity are my focuses now to get this one to stick.

In case it's helpful, there were a few things I did different the last few months:

• I've been taking daily folic acid and coenzyme q10 since November.
• we DTD 4 times in the fertile window including ovulation day and day after ovulation and mostly in the morning.
• we stuck go missionary or doggy as apparently best and your partner's need to make sure they try and ejaculated as deep as possible
• straight after my legs were up with feet on the wall for at least 20 mins, then I'd place a fertiliti cup in for an hour. These are great but practice getting them in before your fertile window as they're fiddly!
