What shall I be requesting for tests?

Hello, I have a doctors appointment next week as will be TTC shortly and want to get in best health as possible after 2 previous miscarriages, pcos and all the rest .....
anyway, what tests should I be pushing for from the doctors to check and balance then get on all the right vitamins ? Thinking progesterone and oestrogen atleast.

my pcos was diagnosed 2 years ago by blood and scan.

I will add, I'm not in the Uk and go to a semi private doctors (much cheaper than private, small fee) and they are very open with testing so it shouldn't hopefully be an issue to request this.

Here, here is the list of recommended tests: iyoni.app/check-up-before-pregnancy-three-important-steps/ Your hubby also needs to do some tests, cos male factor is 40% of infertility cases, and poor sperm quality might be one of the reasons why you cannot get pregnant and/or mcs. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much this was helpful.
DP already had a recent test for another reason (long story ! ) and all was positive there

Get a day 2 and day 21 progesterone blood test to confirm if your ovulating or not and take it from there .

Are you cycles regular?
And how old are you?

I heard of day 21, had not heard of day 2 also.

yes regularly periods every month and 29, turning 30 soon 😁

Day 2 is a basic hormone profile ( fsh , lh , testosterone ect to check if anything is unusual.
And day 21 is progesterone which is what will tell them if you ovulated that month or not.
Anything else right now would be unnecessary considering your age and the fact your periods are regular / have got pregnant before.
If you have a partner I'd suggest a semen analysis for him. It's not just about us as the sperm is equally as important.
Did they find a reason for your multiple miscarriages?
Take a good multivitamin suitable for pregnancy, make sure your getting enough vitamin d and folic acid.

No reason found for miscarriages no, but one was at just a day under 12 weeks ...

my partner already had an analysis due to another medical reason about 1 year ago and was very positive in results thankfully!
