TTC - 7 months after miscarriage - am I ovulating/do I have a short leutal phase?

Hi everyone!

This is my first post so I am a little nervous as I am usually the girl watching all the threads but here goes!!

My husband and I conceived our first month of trying last May and very sadly had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks....which was devastating! I had a D&C and we started TTC a month after the miscarriage. It has been 7 months now and we are still not pregnant! 3 months ago I have started accupucture to help fertility and relax me and it did bring forward my ovulation to day 16 for the last 3 months however it has now dropped back to day 20/21 - the same as before my miscarriage. I usually have a leutal phase of 11 days.

I wondered if anyone else has had a miscarriage and not conceived quickly? And I wondered if an 11 day leutal phase is too short and whether I am ovulating properly if the days keep changing? I have attached my Natural Cycles charts for the last 5 months to help (dates at the top of charts!). I am worried I have low progesterone too!

Would appreciate any discussion on this as finding it all very overwhelming and hard at the minute!

ahhhh I am soooo pleased it went well - that is really magical news!! and to see a heartbeat is soo sooo positive, I am thrilled for you!!! I can imagine you keep looking - I wouldnt be able to stop!! Sorry you are really suffering on the morning sickness front - obviously youdont want to be feeling awful but I always feel like its a great sign that you are feeling something so thats good (in its own way😂).
Yes I definitely dont feel pregnant today its really strange and worrying....so I have actually booked a private scan for tonight, I know we wont see any heartbeat or anything like that as we are only 5+5 days but I think it will put my mind at ease if everything at least looks as it should.....I will let you know how I get on - fingers crossed!!
Yes my nipples were definitely the sorest part the last couple of days - its bonkers isnt it! I hope they come back soon....which is a strange thing to say!!

I am planning on doing a scan today and then one at 7 weeks and maybe one at 10 depending how my nerves are....and then the 12 week scan with NHS. I still havent registered with the midwives as I am so nervous - silly really isnt it!? xxxx

Hey @wudluv2beamum How have you been? Did you have a scan yet and register with Midwife?

Our midwife appointment is next Monday and i have booked another private scan for 10 weeks which is Saturday 15th.. i cant wait. My sickness and nausea had been really bad until Saturday which i turned 8 weeks and it seems to be alot better which not sure if i should be grateful or worried!! I thought that 8-10 weeks would get worse :/ Also still feeling not very pregnant and on off sore nipples and that's about it.. I think the only time ill feel relaxed again is next scan! xxx

@wudluv2beamum 12 week scan was yesterday and everything all ok, baby was measuring 3 days ahead so I am 13 weeks today and officially in second trimester 🥺 can’t believe it, feel so grateful and happy. (Ill attached scan photos) how have you been? Have you had any scans yet xxx
