No. No second line. Even on the second pic. Some people will tell you there is, but there isn't. I don't know why people do this. Confused

There is a line Confused

This poster prowls this board specifically to attempt to piss on people's chips WRT line-spotting. They're either trolling or need a trip to Specsavers.

Thank you for responding ladies I have not re tested but will be tomorrow wanted to see if the 2 days apart would give me a better and clearer result ☺️ I have irregular cycles so it puts me in an out by a week so I have no idea what dpo I am 🙈

I can see a line on the last pic

SchoolTripDrama · 24/02/2023 23:14

Take an ovulation test! They actually detect pregnancy and are ten times the sensitivity of pregnancy tests! (Provided you know you definitely couldn't be ovulating right now)

It's how I found I was pregnant (thought it was a pregnancy test then realised just after I dipped it, that it was an ovulation test. Then it came back positive even though I'd already ovulated that month! So I googled it and yep, they detect pregnancy as soon as a week after intercourse!!!)

VixFromThe6ix · 25/02/2023 02:12

Huh how

VixFromThe6ix · 25/02/2023 02:12

I definitely see a line, congrats!

TheShellBeach · 25/02/2023 02:14

Difficult to tell.

slithytoveisascientist · 25/02/2023 02:18

Second one I can see a line

Twoinapod · 25/02/2023 05:21

@SchoolTripDrama although ovulation tests will show pregnancy, they are less sensitive than early response pregnancy tests. Also it takes a minimum of 6 days for the egg to implant (often takes anywhere up to 12) then a few days for hcg to begin to build up. So a week after intercourse wouldn’t be possible and a pregnancy test is definitely the best option

There’s a lot of misinformation online unfortunately.

mybunniesandme · 25/02/2023 06:32

All those saying congratulations are giving OP false hope. If she has missed her period today her hcg should be in double figures - first response can detect hcg as low as 6....if this is a BFP and/or a viable pregnancy then the line should be very clear and definite now and there should be no ambiguity

Not true. For example, if she has a 13 day luteal phase and only implants on day 12, it's perfectly possible for the HcG to still be relatively low at the point of a missed period.

Mummyme87 · 25/02/2023 07:24

I can see a line, it’s very grey though in the photo. Guessing you’re re testing today which should give you an answer

No they're not, they're a lot more sensitive. My ovulation test showed deep red when my Early Response was like OP's

Nothing to do with online misinformation 😆This was my lived experience and I was definitely pregnant as I now have an 8yr old!

Twoinapod · 25/02/2023 21:45

@SchoolTripDrama ovulation strips have a typical sensitivity of 20-30mIu/ml whereas early response pregnancy tests are typically 10mIu/ml but as low as 6mIu/ml (frer).

Obviously everyone has different experiences and it’s absolutely fine to share them, but it’s important to know the facts as well.

Congratulations on your 8 year old, have a lovely evening 😊

I'm so sorry, OP.
You must be very upset.

FertieBertie · 25/02/2023 23:15

I'm ok not upset but very confused is this a late period or a miscarriage after the bleed in the toilet I've not had a single drop of blood on the pad 😭 I have a gp appointment I'm sure she will advise me but I could not see her for another 5 days 😭

It's a little hard to tell, but given that you had some faint positives, it could have been another chemical pregnancy.

FertieBertie · 27/02/2023 02:22

So I am waiting to see the doctor (Thursday) but thought I'd take a test to make sure it was still negative but they are coming back with the faintest line again now I'm concerned there maybe something wrong like tissue left behind after a chemical? Anyone experience this?

@FertieBertie i can’t see anything on that last one, but if you can see something in person still it could just be that there’s some hcg that hasn’t left your body yet. It can take a few days
