Am I pregnant? (Pic attached)

Posted in pregnancy but realised that's the wrong topic so reposting here

I'm currently undergoing fertility treatment for PCOS. My cycles are extremely long and they stopped scanning weekly at 5 weeks and said to try again next month but that it could still happen on that round. In order to start a cycle I have to take provera, I finished 5 days of provera on Thursday after taking a negative test on day 1.

The last 2 days my breasts have been unbearably sore. I usually get slight tenderness before a period but nothing like this.

I should technically start a period in the next few days but this morning something told me to take another test because of the soreness.

This is the test (hopefully you can see pic) and to me it looks like a faint positive. It's only a cheap Asda test and I did get some wee on the control window but its one of the ones where it's got a plastic covered window and still seemed to work as normal.

What would you do? Can provera cause incorrect results or could I actually be pregnant? Or do you think it's just because I got wee on the window

I still think you should get a FRER to make sure - the digital ones are known for being less sensitive and not showing positive until later on x

@Ihatepcos which test was it? I know Asda ones are 10miu so I can check sensitivity if you like? Sorry it was negative :(

Definitely get a FRER. Amazon or Boots are the best places to find them for me.

My discharge stopped again. Tests still negative. My body is for sure playing tricks now which is unfair.

Not just yet, I text my specialist today and she said it can take up to 10 days for a period on provera so I still have 3 days until they'll do some extra check for me x

@Ihatepcos Hope you're okay today. AF seems to definitely be starting for me today so I'm out. Have decided its definitely time to start trying though so looking at AF as the first day for going forward.

Hi and thank you for asking! Sadly I feel like I'm in limbo at the moment, no period and still negative tests. I'm speaking with my the doctor in charge of my treatment today. I hunted for an FRER test but wasn't able to find any before the weekend, but I've got one on click and collect today, though I'm doubtful.

Sometimes AF is a great starting point! Good luck x

@Ihatepcos do you know when you ovulated? My luteral phase is only 10 days so I wouldn't test positive after my missed period but only 3 days after having missed it.

I would say yes - any line is pregnant! try another test in a week or so and it should be stronger.
Or get one of the clear blue tests that literally say pregnant or not pregnant x

@OnNaturesCourse @gemloving I have no idea as my cycles can go on for 6+ months, I was given provera to include a period but it never arrived

@RPost I have done 3 more tests since which have all been negative, but still haven't had a period

@Mostwonderful thank you! I now have an appointment at the fertility clinic tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I can get some answers
