Hi, I’m new here and seeking some advice. Me & my partner have been TTC for 19months with no luck. I’m 25 and he’s 27 , we’re both healthy & fit, none smokers and only drink on the weekends. I’ve been tracking with ovulation tests for over a year now and always see a consistent peak each month around days 12, 13 or 14, all looks how it should. Occasionally I bbt track but I’m not great with keeping on top of this, when I do tho it appears to look how it should. I have normal periods that are on time every month, my average cycle lengths are around 26-28 days. I bleed for 5 days and are a normal flow. I also experience cramping around the time I am supposed to ovulate which I always thought was a good indication I was ovulating. I went to my doctor last month and she sent me for bloods. CD 4 to check all my hormones came back normal. And then 7dpo to check my progesterone, unfortunately this came back showing no ovulation.. I’m so shocked about this, why do I have Lh rise and peaks, bbt that looks correct, normal periods if I don’t ovulate? What could this be? And what is my doc likely to suggest ?

Following with interest.

TTC for 18 months now and my progesterone was low (25) last month when the gp checked it.

I also always get a peak on LH and thought I was ovulating.

Nothing!!
They've told me 25 is normal (it falls under "normal" in some NHS trusts but not others. It should be over 30 to confirm ovulation).

So, I've got a private consult with a fertility specialist coming up.
