Faint line ? 8dpo

Hello. First timer using any sort of forum. Just looking for advice. I’m 8dpo today and done my first test. This line showed up in about 30 seconds. Do we think it’s a positive? TTC for 5 months now.

I thought it might’ve been too early? I thought implantation didn’t happen until 9dpo. Ovulation should be pretty much bang on as I temp and OPK. I’m going to get FRER to make sure so will keep you updated x

@Lovie91 you can implant earlier than 9dpo think that’s just the most common day! I think I implanted at around 6/7 dpo with this pregancy xx

Yep try a first response! They’re more sensitive that the strip tests. Implantation can defo happen before 9dpo!! I’ve had my first positive around 9-10dpo previously :)

So.. I’ve bought a frer and couldn’t resist so I’ve just done it and it’s stark white. No line at all. :(

however just done another 2 strip tests and both have a faint line on.

whats going on. I’m going crazy. Going to wait for FMU tomorrow with a frer but surely it’s diluted now it wouldn’t show up on a cheapy.

@Lovie91 thats so odd! Can you dip a cheapie in water just to make sure there’s no indent/evaps?

I’ve just dipped into water like you said and there’s absolutely nothing on it that I can see. I’m baffled 😕

@Lovie91 maybe the strips are just extra sensitive? I don’t see how 3 can pick up a proper pink line and be false!

How strange. They are sensitive ones. They’re 10 miu but the FRER is 6.3miu it’s says. I’ll try again in the morning with FMU and hope for the best. Thanks so much for replying to me lovley xx

Defo try frer in the morning. I swear they’re the most sensitive tests out there!

That’s really weird because the strips have a very strong line.

(My early positives on them are torch-shiners)

Those strip tests do look positive, fingers crossed for the morning!

@Lovie91 I don't know what it is with frers but both mine were picked up by cheapies before a positive on the FRER 🤷‍♀️ dodgy amazon tests

Cheapies picked up mine way earlier then other tests. I had the same thing and then the cheapies got darker over the next few days.

I had a chemical last month - lines were never strong, but were stronger on my cheap easy@home strips than on FRER.
Not sure if I have line eyes, but I feel like I can see the faintest shadow of a line on your FRER...keep testing OP!

I had lines like that on cheapies super early too and pretty much non existent on others until 10dpo, I’m now 22 weeks pregnant!! Fingers crossed x

I had strong lines on the cheaps when nothing/v faint on frer - now 33 weeks pregnant! Good luck op 🤞🤞🤞

This Happened to me the cheap ones was positive and there others were negative. X

Morning.. so I done a cheapie this morning and tbh there was barely anything on it however there was a slight line but not as strong as others. And the FRER I took apart and again a vvvvvv faint line. I was up for a wee 3 or 4 times through the night as I always drink through the night too so I don’t know what to think. Feeling deflated 😔 AF isn’t due for another 7 days so I’ll wait a few more days before testing again xxx

Update - just got back from school run and looked at the FRER again and the line is defo pink not indent. Done another cheapie and still ever so faint line 😩 I’m going out my mind here!
