Hey I’m new here 👋🏼
We have been TTC since September 22.

I was on microgynon 30 pill for years and still no sign of ovulation or periods it’s been well 3 months now!

No positive tests and I’ve got so bogged down with doing fortnightly tests (just incase) I just can’t face ovulation tests as I feel there’s nothing going on.

Getting a bit worried there’s something wrong with me 😟 I have an 8yo from a previous relationship but have been on the pill since!

does anyone else have any time frames that might help ease my worries or had the same problem coming off a combined pill?

Hi @LLL3 I had the copper coil before TTC so no waiting time (not that it's helped me so far!) But prior to that I was on the combined pill for over 10 years then the mini pill. Took about 4/5 months for my cycle to come back, my GP wasn't concerned and neither was I but I wasn't ttc so not really thinking about it too much at the time.

Hopefully yours will come out of your system soon too

I have a terrible googling problem 🤣 seeing things like ‘cycle should be regular within 3 months’ and hearing everyone else got theirs back sooner!

I was on the mini pill before and my pregnancy was an accident so this is all new to me.

@LLL3 I mean it might be worth doing a pregnancy test in case you're already pregnant? But yeah have a chat with your GP if you're worried but AF will likely turn up soon

So FF and flo are giving me two different days as ovulation. Which would you go with? Doesn't overly matter I suppose but just curious as would like to be a DPO ahead instead of behind lol

@christmasbabydust eeek I would tentatively say congrats as the line looks pink to me! Would test again in a few days and see. Fingers crossed this is your BFP!

How are all those still waiting doing? I’ve sooo many symptoms but not sure how many are in my head. Twinges, sore boobs, night sweats, mad dreams, and a funny sensation in my mouth with lots of saliva. Feeling a bit sick eating things that I normally like. A sore throat and butterflies - that could be the anxiety of waiting. I’ve done a few tests even though I KNOW it’s too early - why do we do that? Obviously negative. Need to try and hold off a few more days then do one of the clear blue early detection ones.

@Teaplease29 ah so many positive signs, I hope this is your month! I'm testing in the morning at 10dpo so also on high alert for any symptoms. I've had some twinges too and bbt is still high so we shall see. What dpo are you? When are you testing?

@Maxime34 I’m keeping everything crossed for you in the morning. I think I’ll be 9dpo tomorrow but I’ve not been tracking for long so not sure how accurate I am about ovulation date. Hoping we caught it. Period tracker said ovulation Tuesday and had all my usual ovulation symptoms on the Monday. We DTD everyday Saturday to Tuesday so think we gave it our best shot.

Going to try and wait until Thursday because the early tests are just so pricey.

@Teaplease29 I've got loads of symptoms- left pelvic cramping, twinges, acid reflux, heart palpitations, tummy feeling weird LOADS of butterflies too ...ect. But Im worried I could be overthinking it!

I thought my test this morning had a line but I've had more people say negative than those who say they can see a line 😖
Will be testing again in the morning and I'm so anxious!

Don't track ovulation but irregular AF was predicted to start today or tomorrow

@Maxime34 - what have your twinges felt like?
I keep getting butterflies and I've also had left pelvic light cramps 🤔

@Teaplease29 I'm 9dpo tomorrow too. I've been feeling hungover all day today and felt a bit off the past couple of days. I think it might be a hormone induced migraine though 🙈

These tests are starting to upset me as I was certain I saw something yesterday. Today it's negative 😖

This was my 9am test. (6am test above)
But I'm having loads of problems with these tests... so I don't know what to believe 😞

How many days post ovulation are you? When is your period due?

Period was supposedly due yesterday but my cycles aren't regular.
I'm on cycle day 35 - last cycles were 33 & 32

Sounds like my cycles. I had all the symptoms last cycle but nothing. Bodies are weird. I had symptoms that I've only had when pregnant but still BFN then period arriving with a vengeance. Fingers crossed for you though x

@bubblebab I felt normal cramping and back ache at 8dpo and 9dpo I had a really sharp sudden pain which I thought could be implantation but today at 10dpo I got a bfn so not feeling very hopeful as It seems most people have a positive by now... Just need to wait and see I guess! Did you test today?

Yeah I did- I posted pics a couple of messages above- negative at 6am and unclear at 9am- then did a different test with the same 9am wee and negative.

I have a feeling I've got dodgy tests 😥

@bubblebab ah sorry yes I see them now. I would get a first response If af is late as that should give you an answer, the cheap tests are so hit and miss. Af is in two days for me so there's still time but trying not to hold on to too much hope. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us and everyone testing at the moment x

Joining in - just had a verrrry faint line on a FRER, period due tomorrow or next day (cycles are a little bit wonky but usually 25ish days). Not sure when i ovulated but roughly 12/13 days ago if i go by how my body felt at the time. Have had 3 chemicals this year (jan, april, august) so praying if this is right it will stick this time and my DS can be a brother :) I doubt the FRERs unless they are blazingly obvious lines have heard so many indents/evap stories.

we’ve been trying on and off for almost two years now so starting to get worried that nothings happening as we’ve also had recurrent miscarriages in the past but now not even a sniff of a line.

currently 8dpo and already obsessively POAS 🤦🏽‍♀️. I’ve even just done an LH one to at least see two lines and even that only had one 😂
