@Knov20 how strange! I've got my fingers tightly crossed for you. I think I'm out, I believe af arrived this morning, this cycle has been super short compared to usual with only 20 days 🙃 App is saying my next ovulation is the 28th so either I just go and enjoy the festivities and wait til January to try again or I don't have a drink over Christmas (which isn't the be all and end all) see how I feel. Starting crying this morning with af arriving, so disheartening when you've done everything in your power.

@Sb86 I hear ya. I did the same yesterday and was really sad the rest of the night. Onto the next cycle 😭

Hi all! Joining in the festive TTC thread.

We're trying for baby number 1 and are on our first cycle. I had my Mirena coil out early November, had some withdrawal bleeding then AF came about a week after that. Some anxiety about how long it will take due to age (35) and having had a Mirena coil for 4 years!

I've been charting LH and pretty sure we caught ovulation so there should have been some swimmers up there to catch any potential egg. Currently 6dpo and had some brown spotting today - just waiting to be able to test! I promised myself I wouldn't get too obsessed but here we are checking Flo app every day like it will tell me anything new and scouring forums. Really hoping brown spotting isn't AF coming super early as am v aware that my hormones might not be stabalised after having hormone IUD for so long. Eeek!

Can anyone help with OPK’s? I’m using easy@home with the Premom app. Predicted ovulation was today. I’ve tested 3 times today. The middle test was originally 0.6, but because my test after it was a lot lower, the app automatically changed the 0.6 to peak. I don’t think it was my peak. And I don’t know if my last test was accurate as I urinated between tests so probably wasn’t a good time to test. But has anyone had this before?

@Knov20 yes!!!! This is exactly what I had and didn’t have any implantation bleeding last time. Very very faint line one day, expected it to be darker the next day and it wasn’t so had a bad feeling about it, went away to a hotel for the night and when we arrived I realized I was bleeding and it was like AF amount. It only lasted that night and by the next day dried up. Now testing as 2-3 weeks on a digital so it was definitely a very heavy implantation bleed! Looks like yours is the same! 🥳

@GemLou88 i would take your peak as somewhere around lunchtime from that so I’d count ovulation as sometime around lunchtime 24 hours later 😊the 10am one looks like your peak. Ive found they can be so easily affected by how much water you’re drinking

@BCxx eeeek this has made me feel quite excited. What dpo were you when you had the bleed?

These were my tests around my highest reading. I feel so deflated this cycle as I was so encouraged by evening primrose oil and now worry it’s affected my chances. I have reordered the ovulation supplements I was taking in the hope this encourages ovulation next month and I may be in with a chance 😩

Ahh I don’t know! I’m trying not to obsess about it and I’ve been Googling “is implantation bleeding real?” and so many websites are saying there’s no real evidence for it even though doctors talk about it!! Fingers crossed!!

Yes! This has happened to me! It initially recorded a peak then the day after I got a much stronger result and after I uploaded another result after my stronger result, the app then changed my peak to the stronger result.

Thanks @BCxx @anotherscroller and @doughyparton. Think I’ll just have to cover all bases, tentatively says ovulation is tomorrow but continue to test to see if it’s going to be later

@Knov20 i got the faint line last Thursday at 9dpo (could have been 8 depending on exact timing ovulation), next faint line at 10dpo, started bleeding on the Saturday at 11dpo and it stopped by the night of 12dpo. I got the impression you would have implantation bleeding BEFORE getting a bfp so I fully ruled out it being good news at all since I felt like my line was too faint and I was bleeding way more than spotting, it was fully like the first day of my period. Not soaking a pad to the point you’d need to constantly change but there was a substantial amount of blood there! I used to not really believe the whole implantation bleeding thing, especially since I had a full pregnancy without a drop of blood.. think it might just be a sign this one is going to be trouble from the start as I’m now nauseous very early on 🙈

@BCxx this is what I thought about the faint line that I wouldn't get this then bleeding. I'm going to test today and see what it says!!

@Knov20 my faint line only became a decent line after 48 hours but even then it was still just a noticeable line and not a really dark one. I didn’t get a BFP until 12dpo with my son and no bleeding, I’m still so shocked I could bleed like that and it be fine 🙈

Onto the next cycle for me 3DPO today. I’ve also had an HCG shot and negative on last cycle caused so much grief I’m definitely not going to test until 14!

Hey ladies, hope you are all doing well! So I am CD18 and had peak OPK 1.07 on CD13, so assumed O day was CD14, I tested again to make sure LH was coming down again which it was as that is my typical pattern, lifes been hectic recently so skipped a few days of testing and decided to test last night fully expecting it to be back down to my baseline of around 0.2, but weirdly it was darker then my baseline at around 0.5 and this morning its 0.6, i’m super confused! I’m worried I actually peaked again on the days I didnt check and this is the LH coming back down again, we havent managed to DTD since original peak day on CD13 🤦‍♀️😩 this is really unusual for me, since I hve been tracking my OPKs have followed pretty much the same pattern of up, peak then down then baseline throughout my cycle. Any thoughts? I dont BBT as I gave up with that, didn’t like it!

@Roxybabe glad to see you back! That’s a lot of days of high readings 🤔 could you have even really dehydrated or something? I’ve seen people say their body has tried to ovulate once and if it doesn’t manage to it tries again, could maybe be that

@BCxx its very strange, I’ve been tracking since July and my pattern has been very much the same each month, I wonder if I had a higher peak on the days I didn’t check and this is the LH coming back down or is it rising again?? Argh I was confident I was 4/5dpo so this has thrown me … feel quite defeated now as we haven’t BD since CD 13. The only thing I can think of is we have recently traveled home for Christmas (I live abroad) and maybe the long haul flight and change of time zone has thrown my horomes and cycles off! I guess its not the end of the world, I’ll keep testing and see what it does and DTD tonight just incase but I hate feeling like I don’t know whats happening. Feel like the chances of a December BFP may have massively decreased now!!

@Roxybabe yeah I think sometimes you can have a really long peak or sometimes it can be a short spike up and back down. It’s so exhausting so it’s not as easy as just do it every night or every other night, that’s not always possible, especially when you think your peak has been so don’t beat yourself up. It’s the not knowing the exact date you can test that’s so annoying 🤦🏼‍♀️ You might need to wait closer to AF is due. Hopefully you’re still lucky and it’s hydration or something that’s thrown the tests off. We dtd for the last time about two and a half days before ovulation in the end up, after doing it the night before or on the day the three months before this one and yet somehow this was the successful one.. there’s no rhyme or reason to it it seems!

@Roxybabe mine look exactly like those! Before I started medication, and I’ve stopped doing them.
now I’m on letrozole
