Endo/PCOS and TTC

Hey,
I've had endo for years, had some tissue removed in 2017.

I've now had suspected PCOS for 3 years although my hormone test taken last year wasnt much of a worry. Im waiting on results from my latest hormone test. I had a large cyst removed from my ovary last month, and my coil removed the same week.
I went onto the combined pill for a month. Had a period last week and have had a positive ovulation test, I know these aren't too accurate with people who suffer from PCOS.

But my question is, is there anything I can be doing myself to improve chances in conceiveing with endo/ PCOS :)

Hey OP, I too have endo and PCOS, I did manage to ovulate 3 months in a row with this regime of tablets and conceived on the last one, although it ended in a chemical.

Daily I take:
Inositol supplements (needs to be myoinositol and d chiro inositol, avoid conceive plus ovulation support as no longer has the d chiro)
1500mg metformin (prescribed from GP, shown to help induce ovulation in women with PCOS)
Coenzyme q 10 (supplement for egg quality)

Folic acid
Vitamin D
75mg aspirin (some studies show improves conception rates in endometriosis)
Ginger root extract (supposedly reduces inflammation which helps in PCOS)

With regards to the LH tests even though I have PCOS I still get a really clear surge and peak, so don't discount it just yet. I find the premom app where you can take pictures of and log your easy@home tests on really useful, it measures the ratio on the test and gives you a graph so makes it super easy to track and get to know your baseline LH levels!

Hopefully you may not need all this if you seem to have ovulated, I literally don't without!

Is your weight in check? If I lose 15kg I know I will ovulate. Not when my BMI is really high. This is proven with blood tests as well as LH strips etc.
But many people with PCOS just don't ovulate regularly. Might be worth ovulation induction as a first step into assisted fertility - very non invasive and not expensive compared to IVF.
