Donating eggs frozen when younger after a more recent cancer diagnosis

Can anyone tell me if I'd be allowed to donate eggs frozen when I was younger after more recently receiving a cancer diagnosis?

I froze eggs in my early 30s and again when I was 36 with the intention of using them to start my own family. It sadly looks like I won't be in a position to have my own children now (not due to cancer), but it would really lessen the blow if I could donate them to help someone else.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39, however, and am wondering if that might make me ineligible? It had not spread so I can see no reason why the eggs would be affected but I realise rules are sometimes overcautious. I've been tested for various cancer causing genes and all the tests were negative so it seems to have just been bad luck. There is no significant history of cancer in my family. I also paid for tests to see if I was at risk of having a baby with any other serious genetic conditions and I wasn't. It would be so lovely not to have to destroy them but I worry I may have to.

Worth talking to clinics - the main worry would be heriditary breast cancer but you’ve ruled that out as best you can having had the tests.

Thanks Pepperama - I've emailed them but I struggle with the waiting!
