Under active thyroid and LH levels

Hello,

First time poster so sorry for any errors and for the long post!

Me and my husband have been TTC for almost a year now. I have very irregular periods (40 day +).

Earlier this year I went for a blood test to check if there were any underlying issues.
I was found to have an under active thyroid - TSH level was 29.3 and T4 9.8

I have been on levothyroxine and my latest TSH level was 4.64 and no further action needed or changes to my dosage.

I have used ovulation sticks previously but found they have high results but never a peak, or to give several high results within a cycle. The dr said this is likely to be due to my thyroid. I gave it a few a months and decided to try using them again. This morning I got a flashing smiley on an ovulation test which surprised me as it is quite early given the usual lengths of my cycles.

After a morning of Googling (silly idea!) I am concerned that I have a high level of LH but I am not ovulating so the possibility of me having PCOS has come to mind. I have been researching LH/ FSH levels and in my original blood test my LH was 18 and FSH was. 7.1 Google tells me they should be closer to 1:1 and a higher ratio could suggest issues with hormones.

I guess the main question I have is can you have both an under active thyroid and PCOS or is it likely for the hormone levels to be affected by the thyroid?

Thank you
