Ovulation day, who's with me in the TWW?

Ovulation day today for me!

Only DTD today and two days ago so not feeling hugely positive tbh (although my #1 was conceived in just one lucky night!)

Two week wait begins... going to try and hold off testing until 8DPO as that's when I got my BFP first time around.

This is cycle 4 for us after a chemical last period but I've been breastfeeding and I've now stopped so hopefully that sorts the issue!

Who's with me?

Thanks, I was Googling for that info earlier but that's not a good idea for me at the best of times 😂

Almost 2 years in a secondary school during this pandemic and I catch covid in the first week of the holidays😣

Oh no hope you feel better soon!

One of DHs colleagues who doesn’t know we are ttc came up to him yesterday and said she had a dream that I was pregnant. He’s now adamant that she’s some sort of fortune teller and that I must be! It would be pretty cool if she was right but I’m very hungry and cold today which is normal around this time so I’m not taking it as a good sign!

@devonmum8 That is rubbish 😭 I've managed to avoid it so far, literally no idea how! We lived in an apartment block during the peak so was terrified. I'm somewhat "lucky" in that due to my condition I've had multiple boosters but I still feel as though I'm living on borrowed time before I catch it. Hope you aren't feeling too bad with it ❤️

I'm 4DPO and I hate wishing time away but the wait is reallllllllly long.

When does everyone plan to test?

@peepshow97 I am 5dpo and feel your pain. I am not due till 8th (long cycles) so am going to try and wait till 12 dpo (6th) to test, how about you?

I have had on off cramping all day today like AF is about to show up and wondering whether maybe that is a sign of implantation?!?

@Aimee1995 with my first, I had cramps just like my period was about to arrive. I also had headaches and heartburn from 7Dpo, I tested on 8dpo and got a faint positive. So im to be patient and I'll start to test on Wednesday I think!

I started getting some mild cramps yesterday and then some pink spotting. The cramps continued in the night & the spotting a little bit heavier this morning but not substantially. I think I'm about 3dpo (it's my first cycle so still figuring out exactly when ovulation happened!) so obviously not implantation bleeding but I'm thinking maybe ovulation bleeding / cramps.

It's hard with this being my first cycle not to think the worst & start worrying there's something wrong! I know it's probably really normal this early on for everything to still be setting down (only stopped the mini pill at the end of June) but as I'm sure you all know it's much easier said than done!

I'm trying to tell myself to just relax and remember it's still early days with everything. In reality I'm going to the loo every ten minutes to check then googling every potential problem I think I might have 🤣🥴

Hi @polkadotdasies88 , if you only stopped your pill end of June it'll probably take a couple of months for your cycle to regulate.

Is it like a period that you are having?

I'm 5DPO today.....
with my son I had a feeling I was pregnant and when I had my miscarriage I had the same....

This month I don't feel that way but will wait and see.

No it's really light, a pinkish colour. My periods are normally quite heavy so as of yet it's nothing like them. The cramps have been a little bit more intense but nothing a paracetamol hasn't sorted out. I just never thought I'd be this obsessed over every little thing 🙈

@polkadotdasies88 could you have ovulate earlier than you think you did? Did you test or are you just assuming off cycle lengths?

@Aimee1995 I tested from the end of my period, I got my peak last Thursday according to the tests and had the EWCM to support it. So I'm guessing it could be related to ovulation. Unless it gets heavier than it must be an early period I guess! Need a degree in all of this 😂

@polkadotdasies88 I know it's so hard to guess what's happening! My OH keeps asking how so many people fall pregnant accidently when we have to think about so many different things! 🤣

@polkadotdasies88 similar happened to me when I was still breastfeeding... spotting pinkish but turned out to be my period super early.

You're right. It's a minefield!!

I'm 7DPO and I've just bought some FRER

No symptoms

The wait is killing me. I may do a test tomorrow morning.......

@peepshow97 my fingers are crossed for you! Its so hard waiting. I did a test this morning but it didn’t really work and the dye went everywhere (I hate clear blue!) so I’m going to do another tomorrow.

I've done a test and there is the faintest of faint lines........ I've also had heartburn this afternoon which I never get.

I'll test again tomorrow - it's probably just an evap!!

That’s so exciting! Has your line got any darker?

I thought my period was starting during the night as I started to have cramps but nothing this morning. I’ve got the faintest of lines on a cheap test and the same again just now. DH can’t see them and thinks I’ve lost the plot but I swear they are there.

This is today's test. I'm allowing myself to believe that at least for now, I am pregnant.

Whether it sticks or not is another matter. Can you see the line in this photo?

@Aimee1995 only 9. So it's super super early. But I've looked back and it's identical to the line I had at 9DPO with my son who is now running around the garden so fingers crossed.

How are you getting on?
