Jelly-like discharge 7dpo

Hi. My partner and I are TTC for the first time. I’ve been using the clear blue digital ovulation tests alongside the cheaper premom ones from Amazon. I had my static smiley on the 19th of July on the clear blue tests, and also had my LH surge on this date too, confirmed by premom. In addition, I had ewcm. Had a few dry days of very little to no cm since then, but started to have very watery cm on the 23rd and 24th, alongside period-like cramps. On the 24th (5 dpo), I also had a positive premom ovulation test (very dark lines), but a negative clear blue. On the 25th and 26th (6 and 7 dpo) I’ve had no cramps or watery cm at all, but have had really thick, clear cm instead. It’s been jelly like in texture and appearance, scent-free, and stretchy (it sits on underwear rather than sticks to it). I’ve never had jelly-like cm before so I’m unsure what to think of it. Has anyone had this before? I’ve done extra ovulation tests since, all of which have been negative, and my premom test lines are getting really faint. I’m 8 days away from my period and usually at this point I have no cm, or have really thick, white and creamy cm. But this time it looks like transparent jelly. Any ideas of what this might be would be really appreciated.

With kindness, nobody can possibly know what this means for you because everyone is different.

For some people TTC is a very long journey and for others it is short. Most people who are actively TTC will notice things about their bodies and cycles that they never paid attention to before and you’ll drive yourself mad trying to work out what it all means. If this is your first cycle, have a little patience. There is no point at all symptom spotting this early.

Leave the test strips and ovulation kits and everything else until you’ve been trying for a while. The best thing you can do is take your vitamins, have a healthy lifestyle, lots of sex and relax. Don’t test until your period is actually late. TTC doesn’t have to be stressful.
