💔 it's really sad and I hope you start to feel better soon @Baby3herewego .

As far as I know, when you lose a pregnancy very early so before 5 weeks, the miscarriage is generally considered to also be your period so you can expect your cycle to start up again from day one of the bleeding - so when you started bleeding, that is cycle day 1 as it would be if it was your period. You may well ovulate at around the same time as normal for you in the following cycle after the miscarriage, although it could be a day or two out. This was the case for me after my chemicals and from what I can tell from research, is the case for most after a chemical. In fact research suggests we are often more fertile after a chemical so can be good to try again within the next 3 months. I don't think there is any physical reason to wait to try again, but of course only do so when you feel emotionally ready and probably no sex till the bleeding stops at least x

Is this your first loss? X

Baby3herewego · 26/07/2022 09:16

@Skylark1990 thank you so much!

Yes this is the first loss. We were lucky to conceive our two other children on our first try for them both.

Okay so as of now, I will say I’m CD2 as bleeding started yesterday.

thank you again xxx

MissBeeBee · 26/07/2022 09:54

Hey all, hope you're all doing okay?

I was wondering has anyone here been pregnant with IBS? I have IBS and recently been having flare-ups that require my medication, wonder if anyone had any experiences they would be willing to share. X

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 10:01

@Baby3herewego I had something similar years ago but never got a positive pregnancy test but I knew I had been pregnant. I was told it was never a pregnancy but I know it was.

How are you feeling today? Are you losing clots? Have they offered you any support/help? Xx

LauraA31 · 26/07/2022 10:03

@Baby3herewego im so sorry for you, sending massive hugs!
It’s angered me and upset me for you how insensitive they were with you!

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 10:04

@Angie2018 well done for keeping so upbeat. Your still not out yet though our bodies like to trick us xx

Baby3herewego · 26/07/2022 10:20

@My2boysaremyworld still heavy bleeding. Had some small clots today. Feeling a little lightheaded so just curled up on the sofa.

Thank you @LauraA31 xx

EdinburghGirl1 · 26/07/2022 10:24

@Baby3herewego I'm shocked at how you have been treated! It's not on at all. Rest up for the day and hope the lightheadedness passes. Might be to do with all the bloodloss

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 10:33

@Baby3herewego sending you lots of hugs xx

kizzy97 · 26/07/2022 10:44

@Baby3herewego I'm so sorry, bigs hugs! Go easy on yourself and make sure you get as much rest as you can xx

BFN again today at 12DPO, symptoms still there heavy feeling in lower abdomen, extremely sore boobs, backache and nausea and going slightly off my coffee...starting to wonder now though if they're just af symptoms

LucyLoopyLu · 26/07/2022 11:16

@Baby3herewego so sorry for your loss and sending lots of sympathy. I wish you had had a better experience at A&E as well. Thanks for sharing your experience as it really helps other people to hear about and gives us a space where we can learn. No one talks about these things really do they so it makes a difference to hear other people's experiences

Very similar here. Boobs, nausea, struggling with the smell and taste of coffee, twinges, general weirdness, but 14DPO and AF due date and spotting in an AF-making-her-entrance sort of way and very much getting BFNs. I swear I don't usually get these symptoms before AF? Is my brain creating them somehow?? 😅

Angie2018 · 26/07/2022 11:38

@My2boysaremyworld thanks lovely! I am really ok with being out this month! I'm happy to wait. I feel better this month for some reason. I just have to accept it's not something I can control and it will happen when it's right. How are you feeling? Xx

Salpforyou · 26/07/2022 11:58

@Baby3herewego I'm so sorry you had such an awful experience at AnE and also sorry for your loss. 🤍

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 12:26

@Angie2018 it will happen for you. I'm ok not feeling much today compared to yesterday. Got tender boobs, bit of cramping and backache. Kids driving me mad lol. Roll on September 🤣🤣 Iv made a snack bar list for the snacks. They get £3 every day and have to pay for their snacks. Then the next day they start with £3 again 🤣 dog is driving me mad too! Keeps pooing in the living room in the morning!! I need alcohol xx

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 26/07/2022 13:35

6DPO and no symptoms still but not looking for them.

@Baby3herewego Sorry for what happened. That's really shit x Hope you're ok x

@My2boysaremyworld A few more days until testing then x Goodluck!

Tropicana1 · 26/07/2022 13:44

@Baby3herewego ah I'm so sorry haven't had good news from a&e. Like @Skylark1990 said a "chemical" pregnancy is often only known about when you early test (before the day of your missed period" and in the days before ultra early tests would just have assumed it was a heavy period rather than a pregnancy loss. It is still a loss though, implantation occurred that's why you had the positive - did they tell you what your hcg levels actually were? The ultra sensitive home pregnancy tests have a sensitivity of between 6-10mlu/L so it is very low levels of hcg required to get a positive. Hope you're ok x

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 13:44

@BellaTheDarkOverlord yes if no AF on Saturday then I will test xx

Tropicana1 · 26/07/2022 13:46

@Baby3herewego sorry missed your later updates - so sorry the doctor was so insensitive x

Essexgalttc · 26/07/2022 15:31

Can I join this thread please? I’m currently ttc #1 cycle 2 after our twin loss in April at 9 weeks

AF due 2nd August

My2boysaremyworld · 26/07/2022 15:59

@Essexgalttc hi and welcome to this group, good luck on ur TTC journey. Sorry to hear about your loss. I had a miscarriage in April too xx

kizzy97 · 26/07/2022 17:47

Welp, light bleeding and spotting today at 12DPO, not optimistic in thinking it'll be IB so thinking it's the start of af and that I'm out, will mean my LP is short by a couple of days though

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 26/07/2022 17:49

@Essexgalttc Welcome! Sorry to hear about your loss x We're due AF around the same time. Not really got any symptoms yet at 6DPO.

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 26/07/2022 17:49

@kizzy97 Do you normally get spotting before AF?

kizzy97 · 26/07/2022 18:20

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I used to, but haven't in a few months
