Fertility referrals - how long until an actual appointment and what are the next steps from here?….

Hey all!
I’m pretty new to this fertility journey, I’m 31 and have been off contraception for 4 years and properly trying on and off to conceive for almost 2 years. In this time I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis (op last September) and found out one of my Fallopian tubes in completely damaged from endo and cysts and the other is currently looking ok but at risk of damage too, they drained cysts rather than removed from there to try and keep damage minimal. I also need to consider if I want to have further surgery to remove endo on my bowel. I have finally been referred to the fertility clinic at the hospital but have no idea how long the wait is for an actual appointment or what will happen from here, what further tests will be done, are there other options for fertility treatment to try before going for IVF, I feel completely lost and overwhelmed by it all! If anyone can let me know what I might expect in terms of wait times and next stages or any words of hope that would be greatly appreciated :)

Also, my partner has just had a sperm check and the doctor said all was fine except that his sperm morphology was only 1.3%, did anyone else’s partner have similar results and still able to conceive naturally? Is there any way to improve this?

big thanks and baby dust to all ttc! X

Our referral was November 2021 and initial appt early Feb 2022 (Glasgow healthboard in NHS Scotland). There are then waits for any assessments needed but we already had these done. We chose to pay privately for hycosy as the NHS waitlist was over 8 months.

For everyone the recommended treatment path will be different. I don't ovulate, my husband is fine. Therefore we are recommended 6 months letrozole, then IVF if that doesn't work.

Hope that helps @Justtryingtobeamummy
