Low down cramping and pressure in 2ww - what is it?

Hi all,

I have cramping really low down in the middle that feels very much like pressure. I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s similar feeling to AF pain but not quite.

I am only 4dpo so don’t believe it can be implantation yet and far too early for AF. But wondered if anyone has ideas what it could be? Google not helping.

I don’t think it’s a pregnancy symptom as far too early but I’m just worrying about everything. My last pregnancy was ectopic and I wonder if there is something wrong that is also what led to the ectopic 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks

When you had your etopic were you told you were at risk of another one (sorry I'm not very well versed)? As far as I'm aware and I'm by no means an expert ectopics are due to damage to the cilia in the fallopian tubes that are responsible for carrying the egg to the uterus, but as they are damaged they can't always carry the egg to the uterus ? I'd keep a close eye and get checked asap if pain continues , as if an egg was fertilised it's probably in the fallopian tube on the way to the uterus .

Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I am at a higher risk of another ectopic. Most people who have an ectopic go on to have a normal pregnancy next time, but the risk is definitely higher (it goes up from something like 1% chance with no previous history to 10% chance). I do feel like I ovulated on the other side to where my ectopic was this month (based on where my ovulation pains were) but I don’t know for sure and I don’t know the cause of my ectopic (don’t know if it was one off bad luck or whether there was something wrong with one/both tubes). Thanks for what you suggested - I hadn’t really thought of it like that and I will get checked if it continues x
