Clear blue ovulation test positive, one step ovulation test negative

I've been using the purple clear blue digital ovulation test alongside my one step tests. Last night my digital said positive, but the one step, whilst darker than they were i would say it was still negative. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes I stopped using because of this. If you are a regular ovulator I believe this is ok as it is giving you an indication of when you are due to ovulate and you more than likely will soon after the static. But If like me and anyone else with irregular cycles or pcos then I often get a false surge. The clear blues were picking these up as a positive. With the strips I can see when I'm revving up but not ovulating and then when I actually peak. X

I have been using strips for approx 9 months, had lots up ups and downs. Tried clear blue once and got a BFP. Could be coincidental but I was getting flashy when I would have thought it would have been peak with my strips.. if you can do both I would do both. If you see your LH dropping and then rising on cheapies you can always DTD once more can't you. At the end of the day the positive test doesn't make you pregnant the sex does...that's how I've tried to rationalise it to stop me losing my mind lol. Even if the test isn't positive and I ovulate I will only get pregnant if I DTD so I do it anyway. Poor DH is exhausted lol. Good luck
