Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@MO22 I'm okay, just stepping back a bit as I'm panicking I've had pink / brown spotting for a couple of days now so am fearing the worst, we have a scan booked for Sunday 😩

@MO22 not yet I don’t think, think it could be a false! I had a static Sunday and then My temps have pretty much stayed same! I had a very slight raise this morning but last time I had 0.2 raise and this was nothing compared! Probably just a fluctuation!

@Moosh18 so sorry to hear that, thinking of you. I don't know if it's helpful to say that what you describe can be common in pregnancy, but i have absolutely everything crossed for you for the weekend let us know how you go.

@MO22 I’m cycle day 15 I am! I had a static Sunday!

@Peonies94 ah I reks it will update in the next few days right? I'm sure that's what @RMS0209 did? Fingers crossed!

@MO22 mine did last month too, but I just haven’t had a rise yet! If it doesn’t happen tonight it’s definitely false as it’s usually ovulation at 2 days after peak! I do have false peaks often though so 🤷‍♀️! How are you?

@RMS0209 my period seems to vary cycle to cycle. Sometimes it's 4 days reasonably light, other times it's 6 days and really heavy. No rhyme or reason to it 😆

@MO22 that's exciting about the appointment! Is that NHS or private? Very interested to hear what they say!

@Moosh18 oh no 😔 praying for you that it's just normal pregnancy spotting and nothing else. Glad you've got a scan on Sunday and hope it's good news.

I've had a bit of a blow today, my brother and his girlfriend have just announced that she's pregnant. One of those 'not really planned\trying', 'stopped the pill last month and now I'm pregnant' scenarios. I'm really happy for them but at the same time a bit upset about how difficult things have been for me and my OH. Trying to stay positive and tell myself this month we'll get pregnant and I'll end up with a similar due date 😅 anyone else struggle a bit when other people announce their pregnancies? X

I'm so sorry to hear about that news, it is 100000% totally normal to feel like that - this is why I came off all social media, couldn't handle seeing posts.
It also appears all of my friends both work/out of work are pregnant too so I'm just kinda secluding myself away as I find it difficult.
We can be positive pollys together! This is our month. X

@RMS0209 @Loz365 I know it's so hard, my two best friends, one is 12 weeks pregnant and one had just had ivf so praying that works for her, if this pregnancy ends which I fear it is, then I am going to find it so hard to watch the two of them on their journey together - happy for them both obviously!!! Not taking anything whatsoever from them x

@RMS0209 sorry I missed your question!! Use to be 9 days but more like 7 in the recent months, not includimg the few days spotting I have first!

@Loz365 I hear you, I saw a pregnant lady leaving my acupuncture clinic today and it felt like a bit of a blow (so so silly I know). Hugs all round to be honest, I know how hard it feels.

We all just have to be positive that we are doing everything we can to get to the best outcomes and statistically we are all going to be ok. (Say it once more with feeling lol)

I've gone private... I seem to have found a loophole with my private insurance with work - because I've bled twice in 4 weeks, it's a period problem and I got an open referral to a gynae... I got recommended a fertility gynae and they dont seem to have minded and approved a claim for a consultation, any diagnostic tests, and then a follow up consultantion. I'm sure they won't pay for any Clomid etc and tracking but it's definitely a start. We shall see, I'm at my wit's end so hoping it helps uncover the issue (beside my PCOS and thyroid lol)

@Moosh18 thinking of you so much. My best friend was 4 months ahead of me and we were meant to be on maternity together... She's now had a baby and I'm about to get to my due date with no baby... It's just so hard. But I have absolutely everything crossed for you, don't give up hope yet x

Obviously I'm so happy for my brother and wouldn't want to wish infertility on anyone but it's so tough when you're surrounded by pregnant people who have never even heard of OPKs or BBT monitoring 🙃

! I’ll post chart in the morning and let you all know what happens! Really hoping for a raise! Positive OPK was 4 days ago now, I’d definitely see a raise by then surely?! If no raise in the morning, it’s definitely a false, so I’ll get back onto testing again!😌

@RMS0209 how are you doing? Any sign of her disappearing? Feels like so much longer when your waiting to pee on sticks and put your ovucore in doesn’t it!

so my chart has moved up steadily now! Last cycle I ovulated my temps went from 36.24 to .48 and then 61 so it went up 0.37 in 2 days!

this time it’s only gone up from 36.24 to then .39 and then .46 so that’s only 0.22 so it’s quite a bit less of a jump than last time? By 0.15 less. Could that mean anything? Is it actually ovulation? I’m hoping it is! @Moosh18 any ideas, I know you had temped a while!

@Peonies94 have you got a pic of your chart? Do you have fertility friend? What I would do is put your temps into that, the chart makes it very very clear on there? X

@Peonies94 I'm ok thanks - how are you doing? AF appears to be ALOT lighter than yesterday so hopefully this morning is the end of her, been a long 7 days... just drags it out more I want to get started/sorted on this cycle.
I think when I can start using the OVUsense again I'll feel like Im back in "control" as such... if you know what I mean.

Your chart sounds good!! I would be taking that ovulation surly? are you still DTD just to be all covered? x

@Peonies94 thank you! I finally have a temp rise on my chart 😃 now let's hope it stays up and ovulation is confirmed!

How frustrating that charts can look so different each month! But that steady rise looks good, surely that's ovulation? Especially if it stays high! In my many hours wasted looking at other peoples charts I've definitely seen a lot that have a steady rise rather than a big jump up. X
