Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@Loz365 16 months for me too! Same thing with irregular cycles! I’ve also just started inositol! I spoke to fertility in feb and as I had one regular cycle was told to try for 6 more months and see how cycles go, not really been normal since though! This cycle was really short! Like weirdly short, but now that I ovulated and was due a period, I’ve hardly bleed. I think it could maybe be the fact that I ovulated much sooner than usual and only a few days after cycle stopped (6 days) would the lining have long enough to build up? My period has been sorry TMI but like more dry old blood, and hardly anything! Periods are usually quite heavy! It’s been more like heavy spotting tbh! Sorry if tmi! Anyone know why this may be? I feel like one issue after another! Think my hormones are just all over the place!

@Peonies94 that is strange, my cycle before my last one was very similar to that! Literallt could of got away with not wearing anything, then my last cycle was the heaviest one I've ever had in my whole life! Have you tested just in case it's implantation or something? X

@Peonies94 Hopefully when you go back they'll offer medication as an option for you.
I've had something similar, my shortest cycle was 27 days. I was only using OPKs but my period started 9 days after my peak OPK suggesting I only had an 8 day LP. My period was super light (normally really heavy) and only lasted 3 days with a tiny bit of spotting on day 4. That was a couple of months ago and then it seems to have gone back to normal again. Not sure what was going on but maybe just a random one off? Why are our bodies so confusing?! X

I heard that maybe the Covid vaccine could have an effect temporarily on periods and length of periods. Or Covid itself? X

Is it ok for it to drop a little? Dropped 0.03 this morning but I did have a terrible sleep so who knows?! X

Sorry to hear you have PCOS, but good to hear you are getting more regular periods now must be a weight off your shoulders.
Fingers crossed the Ovusense does the job we need it to, if not good luck with the letrozole I've read of a few people who have used this and had success! 🙂

@Moosh18 yes when I had covid it changed my Af.. I had 10 days of AF and didn't get a peak until CD19 that month and now I have 6 days of AF every month and I was a 4/5 girl before! X

@Moosh18 I did test yes :( ahh how are you feeling? I’m thinking maybe because my cycle was so short? Not sure if that’s a thing!

@Peonies94 yes possibly! Like I said mine was so so light! Why do our bodies do these things, why can't we just have regular 28 day predicable cycles

@RMS0209 thank you! Yea I've heard quite a few success stories with letrozole 🙏🏻
I've seen lots of BFP charts where women have had a little dip during LP, so t think that tiny dip is anything to worry about

Hi ladies, so excited to get using this tonight! I stupidly forgot it when I went on holiday, was so annoyed at myself and am now cycle day 12 (have PCOS so won't ovulate til day 20 I think) - does it matter I'll only have ten days temping before ovulation? Will it still be able to tell me I've ovulated this first month of temping?

I'm excited for you, see having it this month and confirming I've ovulated I feel a sense of relief it's silly but it's a big weight off my shoulders.

Ooh really? That does help! I think I'm just worrying, I don't have all my faith in this month but I'd be delighted if it was my month ❤️ something good has to happen in 2022 to me... I can't have a repeat of 2021 ha ha. Xx

@Peonies94 that's good that it's more normal. Not much from me, still waiting for my positive OPK and temps are all still very similar. It's a guessing game as to when/if I ovulate 😂

@MO22 hope you had a lovely holiday! Definitely start using tonight. I think it should be fine with 10 days of readings before ovulation. This is my first month using OvuSense too! Pretty sure it should be able to confirm ovulation from the first month.

@RMS0209 fingers crossed for you that this is your month! 🤞do you normally get any symptoms before af arrives? X

@Loz365 hi! how you doing? No I don't get any symptoms I just tend to spot 2 days before AF arrives... what about you? X

@RMS0209 I feel you, let's never repeat 2021! Fingers crossed for us both, the main thing is you ovulated, that's the first hurdle, the rest is now down to luck 🤞🏼 I am praying I ovulate this month, feeling weirdly optimistic that I might despite last month's fiasco

@Loz365 ok great, I was annoyed I left it but in hindsight it probably let me relax a bit more!

@RMS0209 I felt nothing at all, except 8dpo some cramping, I also had a temp dip for a couple days 6-8!!!

@MO22 how exciting getting to start I love temping as I really feel it's the only thing that gives you clarity even in long cycles!!! Hope you had a fab holiday!

@MO22 defo! that's what's helped me a bit this month is having the ovulation confirmed... hopefully it's our turn soon! ❤️ fingers crossed you ovulate too, by the way my Ovusense didn't confirm ovulation until 4/5 days after so just a heads up! But my OPK's peaked Thursday and I didn't OV until the Sat.
