Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@RMS0209 sorry could you remind me.. how long after your peak did you did the rise of ovulation? Was it peak Thursday and then ovulation Friday or Saturday? Thank you

No problem! I had a high OPK on Wednesday but my peak was Thursday.
Not sure what day I have ovulated yet as my app yesterday said I was ovulating yesterday but today it just said I am in ovulation window? I'm sure it will update tomorrow/Tuesday and I will be sure to let you know.

I've started to get cramps today:( I hope my LP isn't really short again!

@RMS0209 I had my static on Tuesday morning and then confirmed ovulation the Friday, so 3 days!!! Seemed really long! Think they have to see a raise for 4 days before they confirm! So should be a day or two and then you should know! @Moosh18 i feel exactly the same and it’s what I’m concerned about! Usually LP of 11 days when I count day after peak as O day! Temps Suggest I ovulate 3 days after peak so could mean a 9day LP! I think anything over 10 days is fine, but less than 10 can cause issues with conception! This could be another of my issues alongside long cycles! Arghh! Hopefully it’s something else for us both and isn’t af! 🤞

Sorry if you've already said but do you test early or wait for your missed/late period?

@Loz365 I personally test early! So I have an 11 day LP and usually test on the 10th/11th day with internet cheapies! I find it less of a shock to break it to myself with a negative early test, and then another negative test then af, rather than af arriving and it being a shock because I’ve convinced myself it’s happened! I know lots of people feel the opposite! I’ll be testing on Tuesday but will probably cave and test tomorrow!!

@Peonies94 totally get that. Last month I didn't test but then it felt even worse when af arrived and I had all those usual aches and pains to deal with as well. I'm going to see how I feel this month but considering testing early

@Moosh18 i just can’t help myself! I did consider holding off until Tuesday, but I probably won’t! I kind of feel as though I am out already though!

I’ll post my chart! Will probably be my last day temping, maybe one more day? As I don’t want to risk wearing it and af arriving overnight! I’ve got three internet cheapie tests here, so I’ll probably do one each morning now I think on Monday-wednesday! (If af hasn’t arrived by weds am)!

@RMS0209 when did your tests go negative? I tend to count the day before they go negative as ovulation day? X

@Moosh18 @RMS0209 AF is definitely on the way! So upset! It looks like it was a 9day LP but 11 days after my peak! How annoying! 😢 another thing I’ll have to discuss with gp, I suppose it’s good that ovusense helped me find that out!

@Moosh18 emmm I'm not sure I'll need to check that, I'm looking forward to Ovusense letting me know if it was Fri or Sat though.

@Peonies94 oh no! I'm so sorry lovely!!! Did you say you take B6? Or was that @RMS0209 because that I know is definitely supposed to improve LP length, I'm negative on a cheap mommed test :(

@Moosh18 it’s so hard working out if there a line there or not, I suppose disadvantage of testing early! Really hope it’s a faint line for you 🤞

! I don’t really stand a chance do I! 4-5 cycles a month and then any chance of an egg in those 5 chances has no chance to implant in 9 days! Feeling really fed up! sorry to be miserable everyone!

@Peonies94 oh no, so sorry af has arrived 😔 no need to apologise, it's so frustrating to have irregular periods but then to find out your LP is short as well is a kick in the teeth. But at least OvuSense had helped you find that out! have you spoken to your gp? If you've been trying for more than a year they should be able to refer you?
