Hi

Has anyone else been diaognosed with the following recurrent miscarriages? I was diagnosed in 2012 following my 4th miscarriage and as my relationship broke down shortly after i decided that i could not go through another miscarriage so i accepted i was never going to have children. A couple of yrs ago i fell pregnant by accident with someone i wasnt in a relationship witn but had a further miscarriage.

I am now in a commited serious relationship and we have decided to ttc. He knows about my history and they was no pressure from him as he already has 2 daughters from a previous relationship but i really would love to be a mam.

I am just feeling so anxious and scared that i will miscarry again

Hi there.
I was diagnosed with it after 4 miscarriages. They got me to have heparin injections when I got pregnant next time and that pregnancy resulted in my now gorgeous 8 year old!
Good luck with it all
X

Were you advised to take aspirin? There was a suggestion I could have this and the GP panicked and wanted to put me on aspirin but the haematologist said no as I have thrombocytopenia. Was just a possibility but I was never diagnosed but I know they would have had me on aspirin the whole pregnancy otherwise. Sorry I can't help more than that

I had this and was told to take baby aspirin throughout the pregnancy. I was also monitored closely in the first 12 weeks each time. I had 3 successful pregnancies after my 3 miscarriages and no further miscarriages. My eldest is 16 now so I would hope further advances in treatment would have happened since then. Good luck, there absolutely is hope. See your GP to get advice/referral before you start ttc x
