There's a faint line, does it look pink enough to be a positive? I've been stung with the disappointment of evap lines before!
After 7 months of TTC I don't want to let myself get excited in case it isn't!

Reckon I will ring GP for booking in appt tomorrow! My 'TWW' is usually 12 or 13 days I believe, according to the Clue app my period would usually have come yesterday.

I know I always find other people's experiences fascinating so for anyone who is interested, these have been my symptoms :

  • really, really sore boobs from 7dpo (to the extent I have bought a non wired bra for the first time in my life)
  • dandruff!
  • very bad acne
  • had some funny crampy pains at about 7dpo which I guess could have been implantation
  • sorry if it is TMI but using the Fertility means I have become a little more familiar with my cervix and it seemed to be really soft / low / open for quite a while after ovulation and still is now

Congratulations! I couldn’t see anything on your very first picture, but it’s very clear now a few days later.

Atoshiexx · 28/02/2022 16:01

Does anyone know how I can post a picture? Wanted to put my test up too x

irishfarmer · 28/02/2022 16:53

@detachablehoof aw delighted for you! It's great to have the GP confirm it, I got her to do bloods.

@Atoshiexx there should be a little paper clip button on the bottom if you are using a mobile, or choose file if using the laptop. You can't post pics for the first 48hrs if you are a new member. Also I would recommend starting a new thread so you get replies specific to you

thanks for the congratulations. Feeling a little anxious about miscarriage (no reason to be) so am currently researching getting a private viability scan at six weeks

Can I join? I just got a digital cb. It says 1-2 weeks so I think about 14days past ovulation. I might test again tomorrow, hopefully false positives are rare but I just don’t quite believe it.

Will the GP confirm it with a blood test? I’m pretty much clueless after this point how it works.

Is it good to take folic acid? I’ve read up it can be good for development. I wondered if there are any risks.

irishfarmer · 01/03/2022 10:15

@detachablehoof if you can wait out until 8 weeks, or at least 7 you will have a much better chance of getting the reassurance you want 1st time. I'm currently 19weeks pregnant, this time I was scanned very early due to previous miscarriages, too early looking back. This time at 6 weeks they found twins, but both still very small. I spent 10 days thinking it was twins, at the next scan they could only find 1 heartbeat. I would have preferred to have just waited until 7.5/8 weeks and known the full story then.
Try not to worry about MC, I have been unfortunate, as have a lot of women on here (probably skewed as women are on here looking for reassurance) but 1 in 4 miscarry which seems high but you have to remember that means 3 in 4 are successful

Thank you @irishfarmer, I have now booked a scan where I will be almost seven weeks. Feels like ages away! Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly 😘

It will fly, just try to put it to the back of your head ( Grin Grinas if that's possible!!)
