Hoping for a BFP in March

Hey

I thought I would start a group for those of us hoping for a nice and positive pregnancy test in March!

I am TTC after 2MC and a chemical. I have a son who is 2.5years and I will be 41 next month 😳. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in a weeks time. I am keeping positive though and staying hopeful. 2022 is our year.

I am currently CD11 and giving the sperm meets egg plan a go!

Thanks @BigAlice I think we'll probs do the same as I'm not sure I trust it. Will keep testing with the internet cheapy strips too too see what happens. Fingers crossed it's our month!!

TeddyBeans · 05/03/2022 08:03

@lovepenny I can see it too 🥳

CD19 for me. I'm not sure when I ovulated, must have been from my right side because I didn't feel it at all this time. CM isn't fertile anymore so I know I'm out of my FW but that's about it 😂 I don't feel particularly confident about this month but I felt the same about the cycle I conceived DS so who knows

Brideandprejudice · 05/03/2022 08:46

@lovepenny I can also see it!! Amazing news🥳

I'm now 1DPO and as this is my first time I'd love to know what signs to look out for over the next couple of weeks?

GeraniumCedarwood · 05/03/2022 09:34

@lovepenny- I can see something in all three picks! Eeek exciting for you!

GeraniumCedarwood · 05/03/2022 09:44

Hi all, Can someone who has good knowledge tracking fertile windows/signs of ovulation help me with some confusion, please?

Q1:
I think ovulation came a bit later than expected this month, I got ovulation pain last night (CD21) and now today at 8am on CD22 I got my first peak OPK . Is it normal to have pain BEFORE a positive OPK? Maybe I've somehow missed an earlier positive test?

Also, does anyone know from this when I am likely to ovulate, or could have I done so already? What is confusing me is that my CM has not gone back to the non-fertile creamy, whereas from last Sunday (CD16 until CD20) it was EWCM or clear watery CM. I am confused as to why my fertile CM doesn't appear to be happening at the same time as the ovulation peak? (I know I am massively overthinking everything.) Hmm

Q2: DH is away this weekend on a stag do, so last time we DTD was late Thursday evening, with the previous in mind, am I out this month? Sad

Purple29 · 05/03/2022 11:07

AF officially showed up this morning!!! Boooo.... im now in 2 minds, do we just try next month even if it did turn out to be a dec baby? I'm not getting any younger.... I'll be 40 in Dec!!! And given that I went into preterm labour at 30 weeks with DS, I'm also more likely to go early again!!! There's just no guarantees and does that mean we don't try for 3 months? There's always a reason to hold off but what if we miss a really good egg?! So confused!!!

FreckledMouse · 05/03/2022 11:24

Hi All 🤍
Think I'm out this Cycle after 3 faint lines on Clear Blue and a couple on E@H I've had brown / pink spotting yesterday and this morning so think AF is on her way.
There's still a faint line on E@H this morning but I'm thinking they are just evaps 😩
I'll keep you all updated though ♥️

Good luck everyone still in for this cycle and everyone else on to the next we go ✨🤞🏼✨🤞🏼

ladybuggoldfinch · 05/03/2022 11:35

@Purple29 I get the whole Christmas thing but will you really care if at the end of the day if you have a baby at Xmas when it's something you want so much! I think you should go with whatever will make you happy. But I would continue trying and if it's meant to be it's meant to be x

@Purple29 I used to say, oh I absolutely don't want a July or August baby, and December would be a bit of a pain too. Now? I just want a baby.

I am similar in age to you as well and feel I can't afford to miss any months.

Purple29 · 05/03/2022 11:53

@ladybuggoldfinch thanks.... your so right, I'm a dec baby and it never really bothered me. My sister is also dec, but closer to Xmas than me and my mum always made it her day. I was just feeling sad about not trying again and thought why? Spoke to DH and he agrees!!! Roll on April!!

Decaffe · 05/03/2022 12:41

That’s the spirit Grin 💜

Brideandprejudice · 05/03/2022 12:49

Honestly @Purple29 their birthday is one day out of the year, I wouldn't wait 3 months just so that it was further away from Christmas!

Purple29 · 05/03/2022 13:14

Thanks everyone... im convinced, will get down to it this month too!!! It is just one day of the year, so true!!! Will be loved no matter when it's born anyway!!

arianasky · 05/03/2022 13:36

@Purple29 I'm an August baby and I always said I want a July - sept baby as you get Easter your birthday then Christmas all spread out and always said never a nov-jan baby but now I'm so desperate for my rainbow I couldn't care less about dates. Just praying it happens soon 🙏🏻🌈

Mummyme87 · 05/03/2022 14:23

I hadn’t wanted to TTC for the next two cycles to avoid December and January (DS2 and me are middle of Jan), but don’t want to miss these months now. If I conceived this cycle would be due first week of December which actually is fine

Bridgeth29 · 05/03/2022 14:29

@purple if it's cd1 today and you get pregnant this cycle you'd be due 10th December so I don't count that as a Christmas baby! (I was born 29th December). I'm cd6 so would be 4th December so we're trying again this month but if fail we'll skip next month as wouldn't want baby to be born beginning of January xx

Bridgeth29 · 05/03/2022 14:32

Sorry got your name wrong @Purple29 :)

Purple29 · 05/03/2022 14:48

I knew it would be the start of dec, im the 5th so would maybe have the best birthday present ever!!!

kizzy97 · 05/03/2022 15:22

My due date would be 30th November if I'm successful this cycle!

Mummyme87 · 05/03/2022 16:14

My Edd would be around 6th December which I wouldn’t mind

Reesa2022 · 05/03/2022 17:35

@GeraniumCedarwood I had a similar experience to you and when I looked it up it said that as the follicle swells and stretches, getting ready to release the egg (may be just before peak) this can cause pain. Also if you have any cysts in/on the ovulating ovary (I do), then you may feel pain as hormones begin to surge preparing the ovary for the egg release. So I wouldn't worry about the timing, it sounds quite typical.

Re timings for DTD, I've read on here and for myself that sperm can live between 24 hours up to 5 days. Average is around 2 days. So 🤞 some of those swimmers have been hanging out in your fallopian tube waiting! Good luck ,✨✨

sherbetmelon · 05/03/2022 19:22

Hi guys, I had a tiny bit of blood when I wiped earlier, nothing since. This evening I'm getting a bit of achy pain in the my right side but it's it's very localised and I'm assuming where my uterus would be. Someone please give me some hope that it could be implantation. I had the same with my first pregnancy with DD but I'm feeling soo down that it could be my period. I'm 10dpo today.

Bridgeth29 · 05/03/2022 19:34

I always check due dates and get far too involved thinking of how pregnant I'd be at different points of the year and how old they would be at Christmases, in the summer etc. I'm a bit mad. Need to stop 🙈

Bridgeth29 · 05/03/2022 19:35

@sherbetmelon could defo be implantation. Fingers crossed!

Purple29 · 05/03/2022 20:33

@Bridgeth29 we all do that with due dates!!!! We are all a bit mad.... welcome to the club!!! 🤣
