Hoping for a BFP in March

Hey

I thought I would start a group for those of us hoping for a nice and positive pregnancy test in March!

I am TTC after 2MC and a chemical. I have a son who is 2.5years and I will be 41 next month 😳. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in a weeks time. I am keeping positive though and staying hopeful. 2022 is our year.

I am currently CD11 and giving the sperm meets egg plan a go!

I am currently on CD 23, usual cycle is around 26-28 days. I think I ovulated on or around the 17th-19th, DTD around the same time. AF is due around the 4th/5th of March.
From around 6dpo until now (11ish dpo) I’ve had very mild nausea, that feeling where it’s just sitting there, coming and going, twinges in my lower abdomen and a pressure type of feeling. Feeling more tired than usual the last few days, going to the loo more often and feeling more “wet” downstairs throughout the day (Sorry🙈)
Today I woke up with a stuffy nose, cold kind of feeling. And after DTD lastnight I had some spotting after, woke up to nothing but when going to the toilet there was very pale pink spotting, then nothing since… has anyone else had similar experiences? Xx

And this will be my 6th month / cycle and sixth thread if you’ll have me- which somehow feels significant. Even though I know it is not long at all!

I have kind of decided to wing this month. Anybody else?! I will still be dedicated to baby making but without sweating the small stuff.

I had been ovulation testing daily, tracking, noting, planning and testing 10x during the TWW.
So in order to avoid the frustration this month I’m going to just DTD when I assume will be ovulation window - spot my CM and every other day until I’m tired out 😅

We’re an active young couple it shouldn’t be hard. But the only thing hindering this process is my stress/ obsession with ovulation sticks, so I’m giving them a break. They worked and I know I can ovulate I guess, so from now on its all guess work until I’m ready to commit to the sticks again 😅

I should be ready for action 4th - 9th March.
Period due around 20-23rd as I have differing 30-32 day cycles.

Also @Hxllyx32 spotting if you don’t usually have it - is a good sign! Keep noting the cramps and twinges as you could be on your way to the BFP! Good luck x

@lottieb92 I'm cycle 6 too! Hoping it will be our lucky month 🤞 I'm not ready to get rid of the ovulation testing yet (I only do it around the time I know to expect it now) but this cycle I'm not early testing because it causes too much stress for me. I've been tracking BBT since I had my coil removed in August and my temp always drops on day 10 or 11 ready for AF. I have told myself that this month I will not test until day 11! (If my temp is still high!) We have similar cycle dates too!

@lottieb92 Spotting is definitely not the norm for me during any time of my cycle so was a new one for me. Also didn't have any spotting throughout my pregnancy with my first child so completely new to me, I just can't help but shake it could be the onset of an early AF😔 been to the toilet again and when I checked it had darkened slightly in colour but is still extremely minimal and its been a first since this morning.. this TWW and symptom spotting is torture😂

@littletot I always ovulate around a week before AF, the one month my AF didn't show I was pregnant but didn't get a positive test for over a week afterwards. It was confirmed when I was scanned that I had conceived around a week before AF was due.
I only ovulated a week ago and my AF is due today! No sign of her yet

Told DP AF arrived today. His response.
'Oh that's a shame, but it's okay we can try again. We can just DTD every day until your next AF is due' hmm yeah I bet we can!

Has anyone had issues with this test showing evaporation/indentation lines? Boyfriend says he doesn't see a line when I test (even though I do). But I'm fairly sure it's a false positive.

Never mind. I just did some browsing on the internet and lots of people have false positives from indentation lines on these. I'm going to quit testing for a few days so I don't get my hopes up. :/

Yes @TryTheNight every cycle for the last 3 cycles. Properly convincing indents. It’s so awful. I’m not buying any now unless I get some kind of line on another test

Hi everyone, I'm new here I have 1 child already who is 3, so trying for number 2. Very mixed emotions as had a very traumatic first time, so I'm a mix between utter dread I'm doing this again, and excitement.

Think I ovulated around 17th March, and AF due on 5th. I've convinced myself I'm gonna get a positive test, but not sure if I'm looking into every little detail too much... so fingers crossed for a March +

@MummyMe87 good idea. That's what I'll do, too. It's so mean... seeing a line and it being fake. I'll keep the one I took and test again in a few days to see if it's darker, but then when I'm out of those tests, I'm done getting that kind.

@FreckledMouse mm maybe that's where I went wrong then, I popped it up with one finger so that might be why it went wonky. I tried with two this evening but I still don't think it went in right... I did the hip raising thing for an hour with the fertilily in this evening so maybe the combination will do something. I just worry I block my cervix with the fertilily so the swimmers can't get in

@Jellysweet excellent we can keep each other sane throughout the TWW!! I have lots to keep me occupied this month! I went crazy with the sticks last month - but this caused me too run out. Haha hence why I’m just going to have a break and see how it goes… 🤍✨ best of luck

Hi! I've just started using a Fertilily cup, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced a little leakage after they've put their cup in? Thanks!! ❤️

@Leafy80 I've used mine twice now and had some leakage both times. I'm coming to the end of my FW so going to do some dry runs to see if I can get it to sit better. @FreckledMouse gave me some tips further up the thread that might be useful for you

Hi everyone, can I join? Been on and off the Jan/ Feb threads. TTC DC2- this will be third month. I bought the clear blue ovulation kit as heard good things about it on here but no idea how to use it- is it with FMU or is midday better (I heard it was with ovulation strips?)

I’m on day 15 of cycle but no physical signs of ovulation yet- I exclusively bf DC1 and period has been quite long since it came back (a year after birth!!) I think I O’d on day 25 last month- of a 39 day cycle (very boring having such a long cycle atm lol) hoping it will shorten as much body regulates again…

Anyway, no idea when to DTD as feel period could be regulating… @Purple29 should we just go for every other day from now until the end? Don’t want to miss it but no idea what to do lol xx

@Snowwhite2020 if your cycle is 39 days then ov on day 25 would fall exactly how the dr told me it would (14 days before AF) so if going with the method he told me then days 18, 22, 24 and 26.

My cycle came back about 8 months into bf and I went straight to 27 days.

It's March!!!!! Good luck to everyone testing over the next few weeks! I am just awaiting the imminent arrival of lady flow before we go again for the next cycle. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for the end of the month.

I had my miscarriage clinic appointment last week. I have a load of blood tests to do between day 2 and 5 of my cycle to start with. A little nervous of that but glad to having something checked at least.

CD30 15DPO had spotting today so assuming AF will make an appearance tomorrow 😢 xx

I'm only 9DPO today but have had a headache for two days now (I get hormonal headaches) and had awful nausea this afternoon (which is odd for me I'm not a sicky person).
I had headaches before my previous BFPs but never nausea - but they both ended badly so maybe that's a good sign ?!

I have ordered some FRERs so might test at 11DPO ?! (Was going to wait till Saturday)

How is everyone else doing ?

@FreckledMouse I am dying to test. But AF isn't due till Thurs so im holding our till Fri if there's no sign. I seem to have loads of watery cm!!! I dont want to get my hopes up!!!
